Part of what’s happened to Chad is the same as happens to other many aging receivers (T.O. etc. ) – they’ve lost their connection to the
ball itself. With that you get drops that wouldn’t have occurred earlier in their careers.

Of course with Johnson poor route running and not learning the playbook compounds any chance with a new team. Did he have that problem at Cincy too, or did he just fall into a system that fit his talent and work habits? Carson Palmer could clear this up.

It’s cool that he may make a roster that needs WR help, but I think he is foolish to post it on Twitter. That is one of the reasons he is not on a team already. Even as a Cowboys fan, I sincerely hope he is able to play and play well. I think he was railroaded in the incident with his ex-wife. Even on the trashy show BB wives – she said that he could find other women if A) He wore condoms and B)She would let her know. They had women already in their relationship. She is a nut, he just tries to hard to be funny. Stick to football Johnson.

Though it does not look like Chad will be donning that gold jacket he can still play. He should have waited until he got the job before tweeting thought.

Well, T.O. looked awful in pre-season, Deion Branch never accomplished anything outside of New England, and Jabar Gaffney is recovering from a leg injury he sustained in the offseason.

Chad Johnson is not a Pro Bowler anymore, but he’s healthy and will work for cheap.

This has absolutely nothing to do with the Eagles. He’s done. If Johnson couldn’t learn the playbook on the Patriots, why in gods name would Philly even consider them? They signed Gilyard back and Cooper will be practicing soon.

Philly is a major city in the US. People fly there.

With 27 million under the cap free, I would sign him.

Just put Riley Cooper on the darn IR. He wasnt that good to begin with. If Chad can come in and catch 3 balls per game for the next 3-4 games, it would do us a world of good with our depleted receiver corps.
