APAfter some back and forth over his condition early on, the Eagles cleared things up on center Jason Kelce today.
They announced they’re placing him on IR, and not the designated for return kind, according to Les Bowen of the Philadelphia Daily News.
With him out for the year, Dallas Reynolds will step into the starting lineup, and the Eagles added veteran Steve Vallos to the roster to take Kelce’s spot.
The Eagles were hoping Tuesday’s news from doctors would be better, and that Kelce’s ACL injury wasn’t so severe they’d have to shut him down after his torn MCL healed. That obviously wasn’t the case, and the Eagles fans are going to have to say nice things about a guy named Dallas.

His contract should require him to change his name during the season. haha
I would love to watch this guy eat a bowl of chili…
jason. heal up for the 2013 season. your teamates will pick it up. good luck and get ready to rehab.
The way Michael Vick sucks the Iggles should be o and 2.
Hoping for a speedy and full recovery. Kelce could anchor this line for a long time. So the Eagles will probably offer him a long term, damaged goods contract in the off season.
A thin line just got thinner.

But they’re not. Suck it Ravens.
That’s a bummer. Fortunately for him it’s early enough in the season that he should be ok for training camp next year.
Meanwhile Reynolds did a good job stepping in for him…he should be ok.
A shame…he was looking like a ten year stud.
Hope he heals fully…….
I’m sure Eagles fan “sign man” is quietly celebrating after Kelce and Evan Mathis threatened to beat him up over a sign he was holding outside the Novacare last year calling for Reid’s ouster. Reynolds is a better pass blocker anyway.
Reynolds looked good on Sunday. Hopefully he holds up thru the end of the season.
Get well soon Kelce.
Howard Mudd needs to stay healthy. He’s the miracle worker.
Sign Dan Koppen please.
“Eagles cleared things up”
“according to Les Brown”
So who is doing the clarifying, the Eagles or Mr Brown?
Expect to see JP and Tuck lined up quite a bit at DT in Week 4.
