@markdamack….yes, cowboys have been successful. But that was quite some time ago. So Jerry’s made a few good draft day decisions…so what? He’s made some bad ones too. This Felix Jones issue illustrates what a BIG part of the Cowboys’ problem is. The elite coaches see how Jerry undermines his coaches. They see that he wants to be the GM and the head coach as well. Of course, it’s his team so he can do whatever he pleases. But good coaches aren’t necessarily good yes men. It’s bad enough to have an owner who wants to tell you how to do your job. But what’s a lot worse is an owner that does so in the media.

1. As a draft guy, Parcells’ record is not so spiffy.

2. As for Jones getting it right with Ware, remember that even a blind squirrel gets an acorn once in a while. Getting ONE top draft pick right doesn’t make anyone an “expert”.

Jerry is pretty football savvy. No matter what you haters think. Fact is, he needs to get his ego in check and get out of the way. Jones knew what he was doing all along, he just needs to realize he wasn’t alone during first three.

Jerry just never gets it.
Felix may have been a good returner in the past but it is not happening now and the coach owes it to the team to try someone else.

Dwayne Harris would be a very good option to return KOs and punts. I even doubt that Felix really wants to return KOs anyway.

Jerry Jones needs to let Garrett make that decision. There is no excuse for the opening of the Seahawks game. He makes too much money to make those kinds of mistakes. Hold onto the ball!!!

Jerry is only 69, meaning he’ll probably live another 15-20 years, more or less the window the Cowboys are likely to remain irrelevant. As much fun as it is to hate the Boys, its getting boring because Jerry simply makes it too easy.

This is the EXACT example of the reason why the Cowboys will never be better than a good team.

Jerry is a great owner. But he needs to let football people make the decisions about who plays and who doesn’t.

He just undermined his coach, and Jerry is flat out wrong. Giving a player a kick in the pants is never a bad thing.

In the 2005 draft, “football guy” Bill Parcells pushed for Marcus Spears at the 11th choice. Jerry overruled and took this guy name Demarcus Ware instead. You guys are right though, he doesn’t know anything..

I think it might be time to let Jones ride the bench for a bit. He can’t be depended on consistently in the run game, and his fumble on the opening kickoff shifted momentum in the Seahawks favor. He showed up to camp overweight.
