Unless Chad Johnson plans to do calisthenics in the driveway of the team’s facility, the Eagles won’t be watching Chad Johnson work out on Tuesday.

Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk has learned that Johnson’s tweet early on Tuesday about a visit to Philadelphia was not a cryptic way of announcing a visit with the team. Johnson’s Twitter account has featured no new updates about his travels, but feel free to head over if you’d like to know what music Johnson listened to this morning during breakfast.

The Eagles have been dealing with injuries at wide receiver the last couple of weeks. Jeremy Maclin’s status for this weekend is unclear because of a hip injury that limited his practice time last week and the team hasn’t had Riley Cooper at all because of a broken collarbone. If they do decide to look for help at the position, their gaze will not fall on Johnson.

Johnson was released in August by the Dolphins after he was arrested on domestic battery charges.
