Getty ImagesThe Saints are 0-2, but it could be worse. During Sunday’s loss to the Panthers, quarterback Drew Brees injured an ankle. He was able to finish the game, but he seemed at times to have a bit of a limp.
It’s not bad enough to cause him to miss practice, but it has landed Brees on the Saints’ injury report. He’s listed as fully participating in practice on Wednesday, despite the injury.
Limited in practice was receiver Marques Colston, with a lingering foot injury. Defensive end Turk McBride (ankle) and linebacker Jonathan Casillas (knee) didn’t practice.
Also listed as fully participating were safety Roman Harper (wrist), receiver Devery Henderson (concussion), and cornerback Johnny Patrick (thigh).
The Saints host the 0-2 Chiefs on Sunday, in a game that could make it very hard for the loser to get to the postseason.

Instead of having an explanation, now we will have an excuse.
I’m wondering if at home, he asked his ankle for an explanation.
They’ll be fine. They could start Bobby Hebert and beat the Chiefs (and I’m a Chiefs fan).
Oppan Gangnam style!
Tiki is flabbergasted
Don’t be ridiculous in your comments. Makes you sound stupid. Geez…..
Drew Breed wants an explanation for you people still thinks the “explanation” line is clever.
I’m a diehard Chiefs fan but right now Drew Brees could beat us in a wheelchair.
Well this is awkward. Greg Williams, “kill the head”
Drew Brees wants an explanation for why you people still think the “explanation” line is clever. …..damn phone making me lose points.
Brees is a warrior, I’m not concerned about him. I’d be far more worried about that horrible excuse for a defense.
Brees, Colston, McBride Casillas, Harper, Henderson, Patrick. Sit them all and don’t put anybody else on the field. Just have the Center hike the ball to the RB. Saints will still win. Yes, the Chiefs are that bad.
