They had a horrible game plan against the Bucs. Gave up on the run game after one series. Cam threw for 300+ yards but had a ball bounce off a receivers hands for an INT and floated a pass to Smith that was intercepted. Dropped passes and poor o line play that game. The team just looked flat and unprepared.

Lets see Bucs beat NC and Giants even giving away 21 points to make it interesting beat the Buc,s

I think its time Cam met JPP JT and Osi.

And NC defence has the chance to meet the #1 QB and the two #1 WR,s not making it up check the stats
Eli leads in passing and Nicks and Cruz and dead even in yards.

Going to be a long night in NC

That’s laughable… Like it was stated above, he’ll stay in the pocket and he’ll do just fine against a Giant secondary who hasn’t stopped the pass yet this season. You don’t throw for 4,000 yards by taking the snap and hauling ass. Stop comparing Newton to Vick. It’s obvious that Vick will never be able to process what’s going on with the defense in time to be an elite QB.

All this is just talk of course. Should be a hell of a game tomorrow night.

I don’t blame you for thinking Cam is just some run first QB. I mean he has not really been seen nationally yet because the Panthers have been bad for a couple years. However, his pocket presence is awesome. He stays in the pocket, sometimes too long, and only runs when forced to or if it’s a designed play. The haters should know a little more after tomorrow night. Looks like the Panthers are going to be without J Stewart and our starting RT, Bell. T Davis is also banged up. Those injuries are not good for us in any way.

Don’t underestimate Newton. I have a lot of respect for him and the Giants are vulnerable to guys who can get to the outside because NY is horrible at containing the edges. This will be a very tough game. What I can’t understand is how did Carolina get held to 10 points against Tampa? If it wasn’t for Eli’s mistakes, and horrible officiating that allowed Tampa to hold NY’s WRs on every play, Giants could have put up 72 points on the Bucs.

The difference between Newton and Vick is that Newton can actually throw the ball. Vick, while having a strong arm, has never been a very good passer.
