When the Broncos are 2-8, Tebow is going to have a huge laugh

Yeah because tebow would have taking the broncos to a 15-1 record, passing for over 4000 yards, rushed for 700 yards with 35 pass TDs and a superbowl win had they kept him.
yeah this will come down as the biggest mistake the broncos ever made. Hope he have fun laughing while keeping the jets bench warm all season.

Really, most QBs don’t even get close to 40 TDs in fact, only 3 QBs had 40+ TDs and 5 QBs over 30 TDs. There were 697 pass TDs last season, an average of 21 per team, 28 TDs in a season is damn good. I’ll take those numbers from Peyton than what tebow did last season playing at 100%. As passing attempts rises, INTs will be on a rise also, most of you people on here don’t know what you’re talking about. QB has one good game, everybody is on his wagon, have a bad one, he can’t play, he has a noodle arm, he’s throwing wounded ducks, need not say more. Ok let’s throw brees under the bus, his contract is more than Peyton and he has 4 TDs with 4 picks, I guess last year was a fluke, he can’t play anymore, he lost his mojo. Get out of fantasy land and come back to reality, manning will adjust and be fine, the broncos will be fine, that’s a fact.

Manning never claimed to be at 100%. He said he still has work to do as did his doctors and coaches. So everyone that thinks they are coming up with this off the wire news bulletin needs to slow the A.P. wire down. Before you all start bashing a GUY after one bad outing when he himself says he still doing physical therapy lets wait till mid season to say he is down. Even then with his surgeries it might take another off season to get back to 95-100%. Love to read input from the cracker jack degree getting doctors and sports writers lol. Never realize one game shows how someone will heal.

So … is he at 70%? 80%? Is he only getting 70% or 80% of his salary? He’s done. I’ve been saying it for a year. He just conned soemone into overpaying him and his agent is lining up every advertisement in the world to get him into. He’s greedy, manipulative and by initially hiding the surgeries he’s had, he is also an unethical liar.

… Peyton is not the same and is limited. And knowing that Peyton is going to be thinking long-term quality of life healthwise I think he’s done after this year or next at the latest.

I don’t know about Manning’s arm strength, but I think one thing everyone can probably agree on is his accuracy/touch are suffering. His “laser, rocket arm” is producing some wobbling ducks, even in short passes, not the crisp clean passes he was slinging two years ago.

I genuinely like watching Manning play, I hope his strength and accuracy improve. And if not, I hope he’ll decide to retire next off season, instead of trying to play at reduced capacity.

Actually, I didn’t say his stats would be 90% of what they were. I said his arm was. That 10% is the difference between a completion and an interception. That extra second it takes for the ball to get to the receiver is massive. That little bit extra velocity is the difference between 6 and 0. Its like baseball, a pitcher loses 3 or 4 MPH off his fastball and all of a sudden he goes from a Cy Young type pitcher to just another guy.

For those who haven’t noticed yet, Drew Brees, who just set the NFL mark for passing yards in a season, has thrown 4 TDs, 4 picks, and has a QB rating of 71.6 right now. Is he done too?

NFL fans are a fickle bunch. Settle down, there’s alot of football left to play, and none of it will be decided by us.

that doesn’t make sense at all… he put heat on throws in that game…. he was also lobbing it some because of coverage…. and he put up a serious 45 yard throw that was accurate and fast…

he got fooled by coverage twice, and that’s on him…. but a bad game does not an MVP’s / HOFer’s career end

He took a very bad Colts team from nothing to a yearly SB contender. When he was out last year we can see how good the rest of the team was. He will do the same with Denver except Denver is a much better team than Indy ever was. Better defense, better OL, better RB. If he can survive the 1st half schedule they will be a SB contender.

You could even almost sense in Gruden’s voice as he was watching the replay, he wanted to say something, but remembered to chicken out at the last moment.

I don’t know how the Broncos go far if their QB can’t push the ball down field. Just a necessity in the modern game.
