While your right about me not following the Lions close enough to know all who signed what and when deals were reworked.

Your right there is big money difference between 23 and 15. The last time I checked 13 was in the top 15. Thats the spot he was actually drafted in the NFL.

So please know what your talking about before you speak.

shaggy please know what your talking about before you speak SUH has already reworked his contract Cliff avirl did not sign his deal that was offer therefore he is the ONE franchise player who might not be back next year and while im at it fairly waspick #23 out side the top 15 big diffance in money at that point.

This might BLOW your mind, but sometimes teams can put more money into a position without gettnig new players. Its called a raise or in other cases some teams opt to use what is called a franchise tag.

Other times salaries will go up, like Suh’s contract or drafting players in the top 15 with Fairly.

So therefore they have a BIG chunk of salary into the Dline.

What a soldier!! Plus love the new IR rule!! With a lil luck we get him back in time for a playoff run and if our DBs r healthy he won’t need to play such a big role and will with that alone play better!! It’s sooo cold in the D!! Go Detroit!!

Well good thing for the Lions, they dumped a big chunk money into the defensive line. So they planned on trying to mask thier secondary anyway.
