Andre Brown stepping up for the Giants

New York Giants Andre Brown celebrates winning touchdown against Tampa Bay Buccaneers in NFL game in East Rutherford Reuters

Andre Brown was a Panther once. For a week. In 2010, when they won two games.

He’s apparently paying them back for their lack of faith, running wild for the Giants as his current team has built a 17-0 lead in the second quarter.

The former Giant/Bronco/Colt/Panther/Redskin/Giant again has 11 carries for 88 yards and a touchdown so far, and looks far from finished.

For all the talk about the Giants missing offensive playmakers, they look as explosive as ever.

The Panthers defense is mostly healthy, but they look a little like last year’s MASH unit. And they’re getting mashed.

I think Bradshaw just lost his job…

  2. touchdownroddywhite says: Sep 20, 2012 9:31 PM

I picked him up in every league I possibly could. But I still wish Bradshaw a safe and speedy recovery.

Giants are looking like my $20 is well taken care of!

    I love it.

Carolina is absolutely awful. Not sure there is a worse defense out there. Can’t stop the run, and the safeties and corners are always out ofposition and dont understand angles.

Newton isn’t making good decisions either.

Good the Panthers look any worse? They flat out stink!!! Kuechly looks over matched and overrated.

Next man up! I Love It

Cam seriously sucks. He’s more into chewing his gum than the game. He also pays no attention to his qb coach on the sideline while he’s giving instruction. Jamarcus Russle 2.0. I wish I don’t draft him now!

Hmmm … My first time seeing Cam Newton play … please tell what is all the hype about him. He gets his first shot on prime time and play like an average qb … I thought he was a HOFer.

I am tired of seeing Clark Kent run around this field. Where the hell is Superman?

Scam Newton exposed! Film at 11:00.

Kid has worked through injuries early in his career. Patient runner and explodes once he sees daylight. I’d say he’s earned some more playing time.

  14. mojosmagic says: Sep 20, 2012 10:32 PM

Why are the Panthers on prime time? Man do they suck.

  15. ghjjf says: Sep 20, 2012 10:38 PM

    The panthers defense stepped down.

  16. kingcarlbanks says: Sep 20, 2012 10:40 PM

When this team is on, they can hang with anyone, and I do mean anyone. Look who’s not playing tonight and they are still moving up and down the field. Brown has earned his keep. He’s going to see a lot of carries going forward. Bennett has also been a huge surprise. They are loaded with weapons.

If Eli keeps this up, he will one say be an elite quarterback.

The Panthers are a bad, bad team. Defense is just awful. And Newton is not impressing me that much. Mainly though, Panthers getting whipped on both sides of the line.

  24. Mr. Wright 212 says: Sep 20, 2012 10:57 PM

On my real team AND fantasy team. Already got 40 points before we go Sunday with three guys playing tonight and producing.

Not really, he’s playing against an all world defense tonight. He hadn’t to this point even last season.

  26. dkrauss93 says: Sep 20, 2012 11:03 PM

WOW! I picked him up at 8:13 tonight and I was debating on playing him over Kevin Smith or Alfred Morris. I had Steve Smith and Lefell going and all I can say, from a JETS fan, THANK YOU ANDRE BROWN!!!

  27. acdc363 says: Sep 20, 2012 11:09 PM

Picked him and Bennett up off waivers earlier in the week! Go Giants!

  28. peepeetoucher says: Sep 20, 2012 11:09 PM

Good for him, best comeback to every team that cut em. The world is yours tonight. Run towards the money young man.

  29. bigbluenoser says: Sep 20, 2012 11:17 PM

Hey NFL don’t forget about the champs and all their new toys

  30. kittensmittiens24 says: Sep 20, 2012 11:26 PM

Cam is a one year wonder like Vick when he came back to Philly . RG3 is next . To me it seems of lack of drive and to put in.the time like Brady , manning , brees . To much reliance on athletic ability no football iq

  31. jimmygrahamchrisivory says: Sep 20, 2012 11:50 PM

3 games into the season and Cam Newton is already considered a one year wonder or average QB? Wow. I didn’t realize how many clueless “football fans” exist until now. It’s either intentional hate for Cam or you all simply don’t know what the hell you’re talking about.

  32. pop562 says: Sep 21, 2012 12:12 AM

The Giants beat a horrible Panthers team…nothing to see here.

  33. peytonsneck18 says: Sep 21, 2012 12:41 AM

I said that Brown would be a sleeper tonight

  34. linvillegorge says: Sep 21, 2012 1:27 AM

For the most part, football games are won and lost in the trenches and the Giants just plain whipped the Panthers on both sides of the ball in the trenches.

  35. cosmicduster says: Sep 21, 2012 7:37 AM

Nobody cares about any of your fantasy teams.

  36. bigbluefan1 says: Sep 21, 2012 8:14 AM

Only week 3 but damn Eli is looking sharpe
And Brown and Bradshaw will make a great 1-2 punch in the back dept
