Is revis going to be covering bush, lane and the TE? Harline will get shut down but I doubt he was in their gameplan this week anyway.

Well I guess everyone else does too since I got all thumbs up. And no we didn’t lose our running back to a major concussion he actually returned that game and his backup Powell looked very effective. Miami usually plays the Jets tough but Sanchez has looked good his first two smarts making good decisions, as other poster mentioned only one pick off of a Jet player hand.

With Revis back the Jets can get back to those man coverages and crazy exotic blitzes Rex loves so much. For most QB’s it is hard to read and with Miami starting a rookie, the Jets should be able to capitalize on this.

Dougy: you seem to be taking it more personal than anybody. It is easy to sit back and listen to ESPN talk about players but unless you watch them, you dont know much. Sanchez has been perhaps the lone bright spot on this Offense thus far this season. If not for those dropped passes in the Pitts game (Sanchez didnt drop them), the game COULD have been much different. He is getting the ball out quicker (only sacked 2 times) and making accurate throws (1 INT / 4 TD’s). Does he misread at times? Yes, but what QB doesnt?

@ dougydougdoug, Sanchez has thrown 1 int in 2 games and that was off the hands of the receiver. For him that is a great start to the year. Plus the NY Defense has given up 7 points with Revis on the field (3 quarters) and 48 in the 5 quarters without revis. To say they missed revis is an understatement. So Sanchez isnt going to need to play his @ss off because the defense is going to chew up the rookie Tannehill.

the dolphins are 5-3 against Sanchez, Ryan, and Revis.. i’m pretty sure the Jets are a little more nervous about falling to 1-2 than the Dolphins are

Dolphin fan but admit Revis is ridiculously good. Without him, Jets were okay at secondary. Should be interesting matchup, both receiving corps are not good, secondary much better on Jets, but Miami without a doubt has a better run game. Could be close game.
