Redskins got the better of that deal out of that trade, Griffin Excedes expexcations. Redskins loss to the Rams was not RG’s fault, but of course you would have to know a little about football to understand that.

Kind of funny how you question someones knowledge of football then proceed to make a lame statement that the Skins got the “better end of the deal” How exactly do you know that? RGIII has played exactly 2 games and the Rams havent even drafted the picks they got in the trade. Wise up dude!

if even half of the personal fouls in that rams game were called, the ones they committed, they’d be a close second for penalties.. its like that panthers game last night, personal fouls all over the giants defense and none of them called till the fourth quarter when LaFell lost his cool and finally bit back and he gets the flag. it’s garbage.

That IS true for every player on the team except the O-line. You must protect the QB. If you think the player is going to blind side your QB you gotta hold him.

Risking a 10 yard penalty is much better than risking RG3 for the season.

Being the most penalized considering how officiating in the NFL has been “debacled” means very little after two games. The Rams should lead the league, but incompetence rules the day on Sundays…

The bigger question is how much are replacement refs magnifying home-field advantage. In most years, penalties have been distributed close to 50:50 betweem home and road teams. Additionally, last week 14 out iof 16 home teams won, tying the NFL record for most home winds in a single week.

Glad my Phins are playing at home this week against the Stinkin’ Jets.

Indeed. The Raiders will rectify this Sunday. Put things right with the world.

Is it silly for Redskins fans to bring up sweeping all the time, and is it, as surferbum put it, totally meaningless? Yes and yes. However, it’s equally ridiculous for a Giants fan to ask “who are the Redskins?”

When your guys are embarrassed twice by a bad team (and the Redskins were that in 2011, a bad team) you lose the right to mock that franchise for being obsolete. Similarly Steelers fans have lost the right to ask “Who is Tim Tebow?” for the next couple of years.

And yes, phillyphan, the Eagles did sweep the Redskins last year. They were a better team, and are likely still a better team, so that sweep is kind of a non-issue, just like the Ravens sweeping the Browns. It’s only when the cycle is reversed, like Washington and NYG, that it becomes a deal.
