That’s excellent advice, I don’t see Kolb “making it rain” anytime soon and no talk of a posse, so he’s got that going for him right away! BTW, I think interest rates are going to make a return, and as a financial advisor, I’m putting alot of my clients in short term bonds to prepare for the interest rate and market move back up after Nov. 6th if you know what I mean!

Eagles fans gloat that they fleeced the cardinals but they used the 36th pick in the 2007 draft for kolb and traded him for the 51st pick and a cb who wasn’t the same after a bad injury and who gives up big plays.
It’s not like they turned a free agent or late round pick into a high draft pick, they drafted a high 2nd rounder and traded it for a mid 2nd rounder and a cb. Fair deal to me.

Seems really silly to keep ragging on Kolb BEFORE The Cards-Philly game is over. Perhaps Reid will be able to use his knowledge of Kolb’s skills and tendencies to really dominate the Cards offense. Perhaps Kolb will be able to bring his knowledge of Philly’s defense to exploit it towards a win. Regardless of the money, draft picks and personnel involved in the Kolb trade, the most valuable issue is WHO WINS the game? Keep in mind you cannot buy any wins in the NFL and wins are more valuable than gold as jobs and careers ride on having enough wins. And which Defense will dominate the other team’s Offense? It sure does not look like its going to be a good day for either offense.

Honestly, if Kolb had stayed in Philly he probably would continued to be a good system QB for Andy Reid. He was quite consistent for the Eagles.

Many QB’s have a way of going from good to terrible after leaving Reid’s system -cough- Detmer, Mcnabb, Feely, Kolb, Garcia -cough-

Agree, but Garcia was great before and pretty good after Philly. Reid deffinatly puts his qbs in a position to succeed though, and it starts with him always trying to build the o-line. Something the cards lack. That and a running game

okay a lot of guys were set for life in the nfl, or so they thought…..kevin can take the after tax of that $21 million bonus approximately $14 million and invest in bank cd at 2% and have a cool $280, 000 a year without touching that $14 million. or put it in utility stocks paying 6% dividend and make $820,000 a year without touching the $14 million, Can he live on $820,000 a year? By the way, no charge for that investment advice… I am a huge cardinal fan and CPA!

Instead, Reid is talking up Kolb as a good quarterback who made out well when the Cardinals agreed not only to trade for him, but to give him a five-year, $63 million contract.
