I wouldn’t lose faith in your team, bigbrad184. Vikes were better than their record indicated last year and they’ve had good drafts the past two years that are starting to really produce on the field. Niners lost to a good team on the road. No reason to be cancelling your flight to New Orleans. Niners are still an elite team.

The reffing fiasco at the end of the game could have been disastrous but our D stepped up huge. The officiating was terrible on both sides of the ball. Rudolph could have been called for offensive pass interference on the second TD catch and I’m not so sure that the flag should have been thrown on the hit on the deep crossing route by Rudolph. At full speed there wasn’t any way for the defender to get out of the way. Regardless, it all evens out and the Vikes come away with a huge upset win. Our season took of in 09 after a big home win on week three vs the 9ers. Not expecting that kind of run, but this should give our young team some confidence!

Fully agree and hats off to you calling it how it is. Certain other team in your division could take some serious pointers. Not saying any names but they are a form of cat. Great game plan by the Vikes and executed well

Can’t wait to hear how the NFL spins the officiating in this game. I understand even the fulltime refs miss some calls but you rarely if ever see them misinterpret the rules. I hope Harbaugh gets fined for intimidating the officials into giving him endless timeouts and challenges.

smh I’m not… They lost several close games last year and are pretty underrated. The only thing I’m ashamed of is the D seemed to think today would be a walk in the park

I am finally on board with getting rid of these refs. Before hand I still didn’t think they were any worse than the originals. Yes the fumbles absolutely did happen, but they shouldn’t have been reviewed. They made and didn’t make some questionable calls both ways too. They had no actual effect on the game though as the niners played lazy and Vikes played to win. Aside from TG they played mistake free ball. I’m pretty sure they blew a fumble as inc to allow DET to get into overtime today too. Didn’t see it in live action so I may be wrong but these guys have had some real debacles that have sent some games to the wire that shouldn’t have

First off peterson is a beast just a freak of nature he is going to get his touches and make everyone count. Second the Vikings dominated the whole game. Third quit bagging on harbaugh the refs are awful everyone complains about it so why can’t a head coach and after the game he was nothing but class he said the Vikings beat them and that they are a very good team he didn’t make any excuses.

Couple things I liked from a Vikings standpoint…Peterson made an 8 yard run in the 4th where he spun around twice and moved the pile that was spectacular. That showed me he is truly back and should only get better. 2nd was Ponders play. He is the king of dink and dunk, but his decision making is spot on and given the return of Simpson and some semblance of a deep threat, should make him that much more efficient. Oh, and I love the play of the MUCH improved secondary. Young guys stepping up…need that for NFC North teams coming up.

Time to get rid of the SCABS and bring back the locked-out refs that actually have a CLUE as to the rules and an ABILITY to make the correct calls in a timely manner.

The last 3 minutes of this game was a perfect example of how these SCAB refs can potentially ruin a victory for a team.

Also, shame on Harbaugh for talking these SCABS into letting him have an extra 2!!! Time outs!

Harbaugh bullied those terrified refs into 5 timeouts. Problem is that they replay booth official was also the replay official used last year & the idiot gave the 49ers the ball even though Gehart’s forward progress was stopped & the whistle was blown before he fumbled. That is the real mistake. Also Toby 3 fumbles in a row. Not good dude.

Niner fan here…if this is supposedly the weakest team in thier division, I can clearly see why it’s called the “Black and Blue” division. I could only follow the game via internet but I never once got the impression that the Vikings weren’t in total control.

I think like many, I was very impressed with the vast improvement Harbaugh made with the team was made the 49ers my underdog team of choice – but the more I get to see Harbaugh on the sidelines (which I didn’t see much of last year) the more I lose respect for him. Just because you can manipulate clueless officials into letting you break the rules doesn’t make you less of a cheater.

Shame on him.

As a 9er fan I want today thanks Vikes. This was a wake up call, an it seemed so much like that cardinals game the 9er lost last year. Too much passing not enough running, and our defense couldn’t get off the field. Ponder looked great and the Vikings defense out physicaled our o-line. This is something the 9ers can learn from heading to New York next week.

The Niners overlooked the Vikings and I am glad they did. The Vikings also benefited from 2 injuries. To a couple of Vikings Mistrial Raymond & Erin Henderson. Plus it was on turf which keeps SF off balance because their D needs the other teams O to be slower than them like on grass & the 49ers are a team built for the Vikings to be able to beat them with a QB who doesn’t really throw the deep ball which the Vikings can’t stop.

The Vikes won in spite of their coaching staff and the refs.. play calling was horrible, Ponder’s decision making cancelled that out. How many coaches keep AD on the bench while Toby fumbles 3 plays in a row? Plus the 9ers got 5 timeouts. Oh well, good win! The NFC north might want to look out.

eh, for what it’s worth, not a bad game to lose. Not a divisional game, not against a team it will be fighting for a home field playoff advantage because there’s NO WAY the Vikings win this division and not really likey they’ll even finish 2nd. That being said, the Vikings did whoop the 49ers pretty good. Niners will definitely have to play better than they did today to expect another deep playoff run but so far under Harbaugh they almost always do.

The niners for some reason went away from their usual game plan of run to set up the pass.

In the first half 21 pass attempts and only 8 rush attempts.

in the end it was 35 pass attempts to 20 rush attempts.

1st two games, it was more or less a balanced attack.

This was the same crew as last week’s Monday Nighter. They must be fired from their post in D3 or NAIA football as well as their NFL replacement status.
