Austin Collie’s comeback doesn’t last long

Colts wide receiver Austin Collie was active for the first time this season, but he didn’t last long.

Collie just went down and was carted off the field with a right knee injury.

When he hit the turf, his hands went to his head, which was a concern with his concussion history.

Instead, it’s a new concern, as they’ve already announced he won’t return.

Retire while you can still function day to day.

Why is he still playing? I can’t remember the last time he finished a game. At this point he’s senselessly occupying valuable roster space.

He’s had so many concussions he has to wear the dark visor on his helmet to keep the light from coming in..

Or maybe he just thinks it looks cool to wear sunglasses indoors. I feel so bad for AC. He worked so hard to come back. Just shows how fickle the NFL can be. Best of luck.

This is why you don’t draft slow receivers that can’t take hits and ask them to go over the middle.

My gut feeling is that he would have never made any other NFL team.
