Getty ImagesAs the Chiefs and Saints try to avoid going to 0-3, it’ll take some extra time to resolve things.
Kansas City has forced overtime in the Superdome, erasing an 18-point deficit to tie things up at 24.
Jamaal Charles has 225 yards rushing for the Chiefs, including a 91-yard score.
The Chiefs have won the toss. If they score only a field goal on the first drive, the Saints will have a chance to match or beat it.

Take away the 7 points the Saints shouldn’t have gotten from that bs call on the McCluster fumble (not a fumble) and this game would be over.
I might sound like a biased fan, but… how is this more news worthy than the Lions overcoming a 14 point deficit in less than 30 seconds to get to overtime???
Anybody blind enough to think the replacement refs are really doing a good job should watch this game. What an unmitigated disaster.
Why make a call when you can review every play, every damn play!
Let me start by saying the Saints 120% deserved to lose this game…that being said, the refs in this game really were embarrassing. There is not a single person on this thread who watched this game who could say they even did an adequate job. It wouldn’t have mattered in this game but boy was it excruciating to watch.
I was pulling for the Chiefs to lose, of course, but they did a nice job battling back to take a game they had to have.
Aint’s sold their soul to the devil for the SB “win.”
Glad to see karma having it’s way with them, especially that smug punk Brees.

Ok, what about the BS overturn of Thomas TD. No video evidence to prove ball hit ground. And for the idiot comment about Saints selling soul for Super Bowl, still waiting for all this bounty evidence.
I don’t even like the Saints and even I can see the officials boned this one up against them at every opportunity. The clown shoes scab officials of this game would have been the worst in history if not for the disgrace that was Monday Night Football. One more bad decision by Roger Goodell.
The overturned call on the Thomas TD where there was no visual evidence, The Lance more non-TD when his foot hit the Pylon out does the call opn the McCluster play.
What goes around comes around saints* Even with the scab officials doing everything in their power to help the saints* wasn’t enough.
hey florio where is the recap of the game article? I wanna read it. I am proud to be a chiefs fan right now. and there is absolutely no way that the saints can be ranked higher than the chiefs in this weeks pft power rankings. the chiefs have the better record and head to head win. go chiefs!
Nothing really different about these refs as opposed to normal ones. Hali still gets choked and held on just about every play. If they called even a small portion of them people would have to play differently and Hali would own many records. Sad really
Congrats Chiefs and Chiefs fans!
Next week the Saints* will be Eaux and 4.
Yikes.
that verizon commercial about the saints defense improving is starting to make me grimace
Just a reminder to all Taints fans…..when you guys go to the rest of the games at the Superdome this year, don’t forget to cut mouth holes in your paper bags!!!
Roger Goodell good and happy he frame the New Orleans Saints with a false bounty scandal just to take away the head coach from the Saints. Sean Payton name were the first on the list talking about he the head coach he should know what’s going on in his organization. Roger Goodell you have everyone else fooled but I believe this supposed to be bounty scandal was a front just to handicapp the New Orleans Saints from running in the Super Bowl. Now Roger Goodell going to put his hands up in this bounty scandal issue because he knew there never was a program, Goodell played hand until the Saints went 0-3 he knew without a head coach no team in the NFL can win. Mainly Sean Payton best head coach in the NFL today, New Orleans Saints was sat up watch how smooth this bounty trail goes.

I keep hearing Saints fans claim the league has it in for them, but each time I (and almost everyone who sees what’s taken place via the NFL and its mouthpieces such as ESPN and other stations) laugh harder. The league LOVES the Saints. Every year they float out stories making people think they’re this great, upstanding organization and picks them to go to the Super Bowl every year. No one but drunken French Quarter GEAUX SAINTS fans think the league has it in for New Orleans. Come off it. The team is dirty. PERIOD.

Do you have any more excuses and outright lies?

Benson has admitted to it.
Payton has admitted to it.
Loomis has admitted to it.
Williams has admitted to it.
If you were given a video tape where Vilma was shown handing over the $10,000.00 for the bounty on Warner and Favre along with the written and signed “rules” of how to “get paid” signed by Vilma you still wouldn’t believe it.
