APDolphins running back Reggie Bush was off to another impressive start on Sunday against the Jets, with 10 carries for 61 yards early in the game. Then he went down with a knee injury.
At the moment the Dolphins don’t know Bush’s status, but they expect to know more on Monday, presumably he will have an MRI. A source with knowledge of the situation told PFT it doesn’t look bad, but they won’t know for sure until he has a thorough examination.
After years as just a role player in New Orleans, Bush has developed in Miami into one of the most complete running backs in the game — and by far the Dolphins’ best offensive option. Miami will be hoping that Bush is back on the field soon.

It’s funny that Bush’s injury at once validates the “let him walk” crowd that fears giving a running back with an injury history a new contract, while his absence in the 2nd half really reaffirmed his importance to the Miami offense.
It’s not that bad people. He was running, biking and doing some leg exercises. He will be out a week max.
Typical Reggie, the every down back who plays 4-6 games a season.
Reggie’s hurt, AGAIN?
For anyone questioning Reggie’s durability, let’s not forget that Rexy stated a couple days ago that he was “going to give Reggie some hot sauce”.
Does anyone know what he might have meant by that? Duh……..
If Reggie is hurt and don’t play they won’t win because Daniel Thomas is a bust that they shouldn’t have even drafted.
Did anyone notice Laundry when he came out of the pile on the play Reggie got hurt? He ran off clapping and jumping around, clearly no need to celebrate on that play it was the last play of the half!! Dolphins where simply running out the clock. HOT SAUCE if you ask me…
