Steven Jackson will play against Bears

There are always a handful of players watched closely before teams make their inactive lists public each week and one of the biggest names on the list will be active on Sunday.

The Rams have announced that running back Steven Jackson will be active after watching him work in pregame warmups. Jackson did not practice all week because of a groin injury he suffered in the victory over the Redskins, leaving his status in serious doubt leading into the game against the Bears.

With Jackson active, the question will shift to how much of the workload he picks up. Rookie Daryl Richardson did a decent job filling in for him last week and Jackson is likely to see a reduced amount of playing time thanks to the groin problem this week.

We’ll have all the rest of the inactive players for the early kickoffs coming your way in just a few minutes as teams are handing in their lists around the league ahead of the 1 p.m. ET kickoffs.

The O/L of the Rams is a joke. Jackson is a great back, but the bozo’s only know the look out block

I’ve always appreciated Steven Jackson’s running style, the way he catches the ball out of the backfield and his ability to gain 2-3 yards after contact on what seems like every play.

I also hope the defense pummels his ass into the lush, green and perfectly upkept grass of Soldier Field today. Go Bears!

I’m keeping him on my fantasy bench. I’m guessing his playing time will be limited, and he won’t be as effective as he usually is.

Hopefully Cutler will be at the game and not at the hospital watching D.J. Moore give birth to his baby.

Ambiguous start and now I’m stuck. Start Jackson or Daryl Richardson? Don’t have another option at this point.

The Rams would be wise to go split reps today.Richardson has shown great potential

Rams win 23-20. Bears cant block Robert Quinn and Janoris Jenkins runs a pick back for a score.

JWISZ, your gonna owe me a deep dish.

    Go Rams!

Jackson’s groin vs Urlacher’s knee. Which will give first?
