There are always a handful of players watched closely before teams make their inactive lists public each week and one of the biggest names on the list will be active on Sunday.

The Rams have announced that running back Steven Jackson will be active after watching him work in pregame warmups. Jackson did not practice all week because of a groin injury he suffered in the victory over the Redskins, leaving his status in serious doubt leading into the game against the Bears.

With Jackson active, the question will shift to how much of the workload he picks up. Rookie Daryl Richardson did a decent job filling in for him last week and Jackson is likely to see a reduced amount of playing time thanks to the groin problem this week.

We’ll have all the rest of the inactive players for the early kickoffs coming your way in just a few minutes as teams are handing in their lists around the league ahead of the 1 p.m. ET kickoffs.
