Torrey Smith active for Ravens

Not even 24 hours after the death of his brother Tevin, Ravens wide receiver Torrey Smith will play against the Patriots.

Smith returned to the team this afternoon, and was given a uniform for tonight’s game against the Patriots.

The Ravens inactives included: Wide receiver LaQuan Williams, cornerback Asa Jackson, offensive tackle Jah Reid, tight end Billy Bajema, defensive end DeAngelo Tyson, defensive tackle Bryan Hall and outside linebacker Sergio Kindle.

The Patriots inactives: Cornerback Alfonzo Dennard, defensive lineman Brandon Deaderick, defensive end Jake Bequette, defensive end Justin Francis, tight end Aaron Hernandez, running back Shane Vereen and offensive lineman Nick McDonald.

    Much respect and sincerity out to Torrey for playing tonight. No one could fault him if he didn’t. May God bless him and his family through this tough time.
