i know it’s still early, but i think it’s safe to say that Mularkey and Van Gorder were the reason the Falcons have underachieved.

The Falcons are playing on a level above everyone else in the league. You only had to tune into that game for a series (pretty much ANY series) to see it. Those guys aren’t playing the same game everyone else is.

The Chargers looked like some high schoolers the way they were getting pushed around. It was a massacre.

The Falcons are the best team in the NFL right now and Matt Ryan is playing like the MVP of the league. They have yet to trail in any game this season, the defense is playing well. These aren’t the same “soft” Falcons that got blown out in their last few playoff games.

And this is coming from a Panthers fan.

The Falcons used to be that typical soft team that would fold up like a cheap chair when the going got rough, like the Chargers.

Not anymore.
