He is at a point in life where he has to do more with his head then his legs and he does not have the smarts to do it.

These are all the teams, in no particular order, that look better than the Eagles this year. (Bucs, Rams, and Panthers – maybe Saints – are close behind.)

Eagles are going to have to be better than several of those teams just to make the playoffs, let alone succeed in them. At this point, hard to see that happening.

Definition of insanity comes to mind. Philly has enough promising young talent that the best thing they can do is change everything across the top, QB included. Get a solid QB and new coach, struggle for a year or two, and then be a solid power for years to come.

Ditch the Vick karmic train wreck and get on with planning for the future. That guy’s never winning the big one.

This man is perhaps the worst play caller in the league. With a damaged offensive line that can’t pass protect right now, & having one of the best RBs in the league,, Andy still decided to throw the rock 75% of the plays. . .

His stubborness and inability to evolve or progress as a coach is keeping this team from realizing the full potential of this roster.

Andy routinely lets himself be outcoached by young inexperienced coaches around the league… His coaching style is so predictable, the defense might as well be in the huddle..

After 12 years it is more then evident that anyd refuses to change his philosophy or even so much as adjust a game plan to suit the personel he has at his disposal…

This dink dunk gimmic offense has been exposed, the offensive line has been exposed. Out inability to change on the fly is why Larry Fitz ran through our entire defense yesterday…

Ignorance & arrognace.. how can you repeat the same mistakes for a decade without having your aptitude questioned??

We need a coach with the sand & courage to make tough calls on the field.. Andy still can’t manage his timeouts.

I would keep Mornhenweg, promote Bowles and hire a defensive coach that will be able to inspire this squad and maximize their potential..

hit the road andy, make sure there is room for Juan in that clown car.

The Eagles front office is preying Vick either gets hurt, or another team calls for his services, and they can unload him.

Who takes accountability for making this moron your QB, and paying him 100m?

Hey may be sorry for his crimes, but he is still the same guy (a very crappy QB and leader of men).

The Eagles need fresh ideas in their organization. They have the talent to be great but the coaching and underwhelming quarterback play hold them back.

How bad is the Eagles offensive line in reality? Is Vick just making them look bad by staring down receivers and sitting back in the pocket for far too long and getting clobbered? How about Reid, he needs to call quick strike passes to protect Vick and the offense. I’d say he should run the ball but the walrus will never revert to that successful tactic.

Fast forward to today and I just feel beaten. I am really just worn out of the same game plan week in and week out. I am tired of the same answers in press conferences and a lack of passion from the coaches and players. I am done. I will root for this team like I do every year, with my heart on my sleeve, and pray that they don’t let me down again. If they do, I really hope that Lurie follows through and shakes this team up. Fifteen years of the same coaching style that has yielded no rewards has got to go.

1) Wrong. Foles anticipates pressure and moves just enough to avoid it while keeping his eyes downfield. Granted it was preseason but he showed that he is pretty good. Honestly he has the potential to be a player in the mold of Eli….as much as I hate the Giants that is not a bad thing. Similar build, similar arm strength.

2) I highly doubt they would dial up so many slow developing passes for Foles. And he’s probably already better at pre-snap recognition and going to a hot read than Vick

3) There is no way Vick lasts more than 2-3 more games at this rate. I can’t imagine what he felt like this morning.

Vick looks so indecisive because he has no many people in his head. Everyone stuck their two cents in and told him to change the way he played the game…change what made him a successful, winning quarterback to begin with. Now he has no idea what he’s doing anymore. He’s scared to tuck and run because he wants to show everyone he’s a pocket passer. He’s scared to scramble because he knows he can’t afford to get hurt. He’s lost in this system because he’s trying to be something he’s not.

I’m glad someone else sees this. He can still outrun people, but his issue is he hesitates too long to start running now. Reid and Mornhinweg have beat it into his head GO THROUGH YOUR READS. THEN GO THROUGH THEM AGAIN AND AGAIN!

Instead of taking the 7 yards he has open up the gut, he stands there to wait for someone to get open… and gets drilled. By that time, its too late to escape the rush.

Take the yards the defense gives you. If you can get 3, get 3. 3 is better than an incompletion or a sack, or whats more common these days is a fumble or an INT from forcing it. Just take your yards.
