With David Nelson done for the year and the Bills apparently not completely thrilled with their depth at the position, the team kicked the tires on a veteran receiver on Monday.

But it wasn’t Plaxico Burress or Chad Johnson or Terrell Owens (hey, he already has the key to the city). It was Donte’ Stallworth.

The Bills also worked out receiver Danario Alexander on Monday.

Stallworth, a first-round pick way back in 2002, has played for the Saints, Eagles, Patriots, Browns, Browns, Ravens, and Redskins. He was cut by the Patriots during training camp this year.
