Cowboys have ignored safety since Roy Williams and Darren Woodson. They need to get a safety next season and probably 2 of them. But of course their main priority will be o-line again. This patchwork crap isn’t working.

#1 defense baby, #2 passing D to the Packers but the Packers have given up 5 passing TDs (3 for the Cowboys) and 8 passes of 20 yards or more (Cowboys have 6).

If by “help out” you mean fan on tackles and continuously get burnt in coverage, then yes, he’ll “help out.”

I agree itsmammoth – he is a liability and gets burned, but his contract will make him stay in Dallas for 2 more years – unfortunately.

That would be the WORST thing Dallas could EVER do. Having Scandrick on the field in the first place is a liability. If you haven’t noticed, usually when a big pass play occurs, Scandrick is the one getting burned. I honestly don’t know what Dallas sees in him. He can hit and get burnt, that’s about it.

It’s great having some solid secondary depth for once , still hope there someone available to sign , don’t want Carr back there the whole season

Scandrick may play the slot, but he is not good at it. Last year, Scandrick and Alan Ball were consistently getting burned. Jones should never offered such a big contract.

Chiefs fan here and i really had wished we had paid and kept this guy, very good player. Hope nothing but the best for the guy…. and he has very good ballhawk skills for a corner… a safety um maybe.

Signing Carr was a great offseason move. Keeping Jenkins was a great non-move. I like putting Carr at S because Scandrick is at his best in the slot and Jenkins is good enough to start.
