PFT Live: Should the replacement refs resign?

Mike Florio talks about the biggest story in all of sports right now and that is the blown call from last night’s Packers vs. Seahawks game. Florio gives his take about what he thinks happened in the replay booth after the on-field officials deferred to him, how he thinks the replay official – who is not a replacement ref – got the wrong call, and if it’s time for these refs to just flat out quit because they know they’re in over their head. Florio also gives an update from Jets camp saying that Rex Ryan and the Jets may lean on Darrelle Revis’ injury as an excuse if their season continues to spiral out of control.

Of course not. Should all of them resign because of the blatant mistakes of a few? Based on that logic, all NFL “journalists” should resign any time a few of them make bad predictions or say stupid things (like Warren Sapp recently did).

The world is filled with people who are in over their head. Yet somehow, we all manage.
