Texans move to the top of the power rankings

The Texans are now the No. 1 team in the PFT power rankings.

As Jay Cutler would say, “Good luck.”

Every previous No. 1 team has lost its first game after being ranked No. 1.  First it was the Packers.  Then it was the Patriots.  Next, the 49ers.

None of this means the Titans will beat the Texans on Sunday.  But for those of you who believe in curses, once is an accident, twice is a trend, and three times is a habit.  Or something.

Anyway, here’s the full list.

No one takes Houston seriously. It’s still the Texans.

    Texans combined opponents: 3-6

They could be ranked #15 and still be 3-0 against that garbage.

Packers should be higher. Their record is 1-0-0-1-1 (one win, no losses, no ties, one beat themselves, one refs stole the game).

Next thing you’ll tell us that the 1-2 Packers are still in the top 10.

Anyone who doesn’t take the Texans seriously is an idiot. Most balanced team in the nfl.

The Packers could be 1-9 and they’ll still be in PFT’s top 10. They had at least 5 possessions in the first half last night that resulted in a punt. The Packers lost that game last night regardless of the final play.

How can the giants be ranked ahead of the cowboys when we beat them?

Texans seem like the real deal to me!

I’ve been saying that the Texans are one of the best teams in football for months. Killer defense and great offense. I can easily say that right now, they are the best team in football. What I don’t understand is how the Ravens are ranked higher than the Falcons.

dolphins too low, just blasted the raiders who just beat the Steelers and lost to the jets when they should have won, dolphins are better than jags, rams, colts, raiders, browns, and I would even say they are better than the jets. underrated team, 25th and will be going up.

What a great year to be a Texans fan.

Such an impressive win in Denver. Even though the game ended up being close we were leading with a 20 points margin until the 4th quarter.

We should easily go 5-0 (before GB) if we keep taking care of business. Titans and Jets showed that they can win close games but they are not a legitimate threat to texans unless we play like we did in the first 3 games.

Don’t understand derogatory comments about Falcons playoff misfortune in a regular season power ranking. Not real clever or unique.
