The officiating was bad for both teams. You can’t just say they lost because of one call, because there were plenty of missed calls against the Packers as well that could have taken away their touchdown. Particularly on 3rd downs with Sam Shields. That kid is getting away with so much.

On another note, the rookie GB defenders look REALLY good. GB should still win the division this year, but they’ll be amazing 2-3 years down the road. I predict them going undefeated in one of the next 5 seasons.

Hate to burst your bubble pal but the official NFL offensive and defensive rankings are done according to yards per game, not points per game, which I’ve never understood because at the end of the day, the only thing that matters is the scoreboard.

Don’t understand why Giants keep getting ranked ahead of Dallas who beat them week 1 in NY. The Giants barely came from behind to beat the Bucs and then beat a weak Panthers team. They have major issues in the secondary. Based on 2011 I suppose.

The falcons and eagles are the biggest frauds in the nfl.

Anyway, I think its clear who the top 5 or so teams are, and which 5 or so teams are the worst, but the rest of the teams in the middle, there is really no basis for ranking them.

A better system of ranking might be A-D grading system, where ‘A’ teams are considered playoff teams, ‘B’ teams are on the bubble, ‘C’ teams are also rans, and ‘D’ teams are looking to next year’s draft. 8 teams in each group.

You must mean losing record, otherwise that statement doesn’t makes much sense.

Eagles, Bills, Chargers and Lions should all be ahead of them.

The last few teams to win the Super Bowl had punishing defenses that carried them through the playoffs.

Green Bay wouldn’t have even scored the touchdown if the PI wasn’t called on Chancellor on the 47 yard line on 3rd down. One thing I know is this Bevelle offense and Russell Wilson need to start making consistent plays when the box is stacked against Lynch every down. Pete Carroll keep Sweezy on the bench until he learns pass protection.

As for all of the crybabies still mad about the Ravens – Pats game, here are some FACTS for you. If the ball crosses directly over the upright, the FG is considered good, period. The Patriots had 10 accepted penalties for 83 yds but also received EIGHT first downs via Raven penalty. The Ravens had 14 accepted penalties for almost 130-some yards but only received FIVE first downs via Patriot penalty. Cry all you want about the refs “giving the game to Baltimore I’ll just continue laughing at your ignorant opinion every time I see the penalties clearly skewed in the Patriots’ favor. All the Patriots had to do was get a first down and milk the clock but they failed on 3rd and 8, and the Ravens offensively and defensively stepped up when absolutely neccessary.
