He was pretty bad this year. Going from punting in Buffalo to Dallas should help him.

If you had read the article, the BILLS did not cut Moorman to save money. His contract is guaranteed for the rest of the year. From the sounds of it, he was not performing to the level they were hoping so they made a move to try and get better (and younger).

We loved Moorman too but when you’re the 31st ranked punter in the NFL you gotta step up…..Best of luck to him but not many lingers remain great for 12 years…….

Bob and Cosey….Hes not the punter he was 5 years ago but hes a good player and great in the community….

Didn’t realize Jones was injured. Probably lucky to find a quality punter like Moorman so soon.

Glad to see he landed somewhere. But for an aging Vet that made the Probowl 6 years ago. Currently sitting 31st in Net Punt AVG. with only 2 punts inside the 20 this year it was time for him to be replaced in buffalo. We directional punt a lot and Brian just cannot do that and keep it inbounds anymore.

He’s a great punter and guy, but seems unlikely he’ll be punting until he’s 42-43 years old.

Dallas got a steal here. Its no coincidence he was signed the next day. I will bet anything that he is the Cowboys punter for the next 5 seasons. A successful one at that! I still cant believe the Bills did this.

Moorman is a talented punter. Obviously, too talented for the Bills.

The Bills overpay a good punter then get cheap and cut his contract.

That’s no way to build a winning team.

Good for Moorman. Happy you landed somewhere, i don’t even care if it’s the Cowboys. Would have bothered me if it was an AFC East team though.
