Good pick up for us! Glad to see Reggie working his GM role. I knew if we wanted a GM, which I definitely wished for, that the Raiders were going into REBUILD mode most likely.

Now we need to find help on the corners. Our secondary is hurting. The Roethlisberger still had a great passing performance, and these Raiders secondary could not prevent it.

it would be nice to know, in the first or second sentence, what position he plays.

Its not necessary to say Peyton Manning or Tom Brady is a quarterback. But for anyone who is not at elite, superstar status, please remember Florio’s general guideline to always mention NAME, TEAM, POSITION very early in a post.

Raiders probably waited on him to make sure he was physically all the way back. They got him at a reduced rate at this point in the season as well. Smart thinking on both fronts.

He should be able to help. The Raiders rush was actually pretty good against Pittsburgh, though. The fact we only got 1 sack had more to do with Roethlisberger moving out of the pocket and scrambling more than anything else. A less mobile QB would have been sacked at least 4 times in that game. Nevertheless, this move can only help.

good sign if he cant rush the quarterback then we need him, raiders d line is good against the run but they need more to rush the passer and hopefully this guy can help

Hmmm.. another 3-4 defensive player with extensive knowledge of the Patriots D that was available (probably relatively cheaply) and we miss out on him.
