Spending more money on the Ol as one person here suggested is stupid. They already did that ( see D Bell signing). Now it seems they have to dumb down the offense or move the QB out of the pocket? Whats this guy been doing all offseason?. Vick is what he is and thats all he will ever be. If you roll him out, you cut the field in half and thats no good. Time to look for another QB, and why they are at it, try grabbing a couple of big fast strong WR’s , cause the two we have are too soft.

It doesn’t matter. We are talking about this year only and Brady is much older then he was when he won his last Superbowl. The debate isn’t about who has had the most success in the past, it is about this season. His points are very valid.

Full stop. Vick may not even be the top two mobile QB’s in the NFCE, if we’re talking about QB-type “mobility”. He can run but it’s not always just about how fast you can run. He doesn’t have enough pocket awareness to side-step a pass rush.

I think Vick can be a decent QB on a team that has a run first approach. Vick can’t handle the blitz and the best way to offset the blitz is to run the ball and keep the team in short yardage situations. Short of the superbowl I don’t see Vick back with the Eagles next year, and no I don’t see Eagles going to the superbowl with Vick (yes I’m an Eagles fan). .

Do research before you say stuff like that…..as shocking as it sounds Charlie Batch actually gets sacked more often if you look at career dropbacks versus sacks (once every 9.7 pass attempts). Batch has been sacked more often on a per dropback basis in Pittsburgh than his time in Detroit (once every 5.2 pass attempts). Batch is a completely different in terms of style as well don’t think its a fair comparison. Vick gets sacked once every 10.2 pass attempts.
