Getty ImagesGiants placekicker Lawrence Tynes earned NFC special teams player of the week in Week Three by converting all five of his field-goal attempts and three extra points last Thursday night.
Tynes’ field goals ranged from 27 to 49 yards in length, and he single-handedly accounted for 18 points as the Giants defeated the Panthers 36-7.
Tynes has converted all ten of his field-goal tries on the season and is eight-for-eight on PATs.
So, he’s been a pretty good fantasy option.

Congrats to Tynes. As a Giants fan, I must admit this guy gives me the willies anytime I see him attempt anything over 35. But so far, money this year.
Lawrence Tynes has kicked the Giants to the Superbowl…
I never get tired of hearing that audio.
He’s like the John Starks of football. I’m nervous when he comes out, but he’s on it so far. More power to him, hope he keeps it rolling. GO BIG BLUE!!!!!!!!
