How "kind" of you to help out to expedite the process. If this is not clear indication of a sh!7 stirrer, then it's definitely of a snitch. Either way, your true colors expose your ways in how you might behave personally and "professionally". SMH

The NFL is making money off of the partnership with Nike....the players are not making a dime from this partnership, but some are making money from others brands. I feel the league should only care about what players wear on game day. Any other time would be just be having too much control over someone. Like it is now

But you are showing some class to the company who is paying you big bucks to support their brand name. If someone was willing to pay me millions of dollars to promote them, I would go the extra mile to ensure that I get them to give me a second deal. "Class" can be bought.

I'm pretty sure that he is not even wearing a Nike sweatshirt. This is an old Reebok sweatshirt, which probably explains the tape covering the logo - its likely that he was required to do so. If you saw the brief clip from last nights game of the halftime ceremony for Jamal Lewis, the same thing happened - he was wearing one of the old Reebok jackets with black tape over the Reebok logo. Might be a little quick to react to this one Florio - and I hate Tom Brady as much as the next guy.

"I wonder why this isn’t a bigger story? See if Andrew Luck, Aaron Rodgers, or Tom Brady covers the logo, it’s a non story. But if RG3 or Cam Newton does it, it’s a controversy."

"Hmmmm…RG3 gets ridden like a rodeo bull but not a word said about Brady. Rg3 is black and Brady is white. What could possibly account for the difference in treatment?"

Cause they are black right? Shut the hell up with that. Cam and RG3 are arguably the 2 most popular QB's in the league at this moment. Both are making the league tons of money. And it was only controversy when RG3 did it more then once. The first time it was a league rule imposed fine and he was told not to do it again. The second time showed defiance. But if you want to believe that its because the NFL hates black people, then go ahead with you ignorance.

I thought what RGIII did was pretty clever myself.
But perhaps...just perhaps any difference (Each guy got a post here the first time they were spotted and IIRC RGIII did it a second time, which garnered him a second post so there really isn't any difference as far as this site) is that RGIII did it in pregame warmups when more eyes were upon him than are on TB in a routine weekday presser...no...probably racist just like you said. Common sense need not apply.

The lucrative contract that the NFL has with Nike includes exclusivity for press conferences, so you can't blame the league for protecting it's business interests. My question is, why doesn't Under Armor simply pay Brady enough to cover the fine, plus a tidy sum?

Does anyone else remember Bottlegate? Back when NASCAR was still almost relevant enough to be covered by mainstream sports outlets, and drivers kept knocking bottles of a non-sponsor's drink off of their car in winner's circle?
