What gets old is the complaint about the Packers getting all of the calls. How about the Jerry Rice fumble that wasn't called in '98? How about the facemask that wasn't called in '09 vs. Arizona? These were both botched calls(among others) in playoff games that ended the Packers season. I have heard alot about the Giants game last year and the 49ers game this year as being poorly officiated. Didn't both of those teams beat the Packers pretty handily? Did the poor calls in those games effect the outcome? No and No. This argument is a reach at best. Get a life jealous haters---the Packers will be the league's worst nightmare the rest of the season.

for one thing it took alot of COURAGE for the replacement guys to step on the field, to go down in the pit, into the arena of life and do battle, unlike the oafs in the stands,or nation sports talk radio, who can only level criticism.....and without the replacement guys there would have been NO football.....and didnt the Pack get sacked like 8 times in the first half alone, with any one of those plays being blocked right, could have been a TD.....so any outcome of any game never comes down to a single officiating call, but the um total of the plays even out over the course of the game.....you always have enough opportunity in play over the course of a game, and not any one officiating call........and the honeymoon for the regular guys is going to last all of 5 minutes before the oaks in the stands get on them too.....hats off to the replacement guys for climbing down into the pit of life and doing battle!!!......

Personally I think the entire season should be re-played at Roger Goodells expense. Also, he should be used as the football in every game. I would love to see anyone of those games played where only the kickers come on the field.
I realize that only 3 games have been played but every game counts. The games played so far, the officiating was 3rd grade level and should not even count.

Dear Commissy Goodhell,

You truly are sorry.

You care what you put your fans through. Oh, joy! We feel all better now. Really. You don't even offer to kiss our boo boos?

How about apologizing to the players who have had their careers threatened when the dirty teams like the Detroit Lions, Pittsburgh Steelers, Philadelphia Eagles, St. Louis Rams, and New England Patriots took full advantage of "no see, no foul" approach. These teams sought to and often injured players because they knew there was no penalty going to be called. You can add the Cincinnati Bengals as one of the dirty teams - that fat chick with the long, ethnic island hair was like an enforcer with the mob trying to take out knees of opposing players. He should be kicked out of football for life for being a disgusting, unprofessional player.

Seriously, nothing short of your resignation will begin to heal this mess. America knows that the professional referees are greedy bastards wanting full time pay for part time work, but we can handle them in due time - via the internet - and when Hoculi starts making up calls like he did last year, I'll be all over him like a two dollar hoe on a john.

Resign now, idiot!

I watched that replay tape of the catch a whole bunch and according to the "Completed Catch Rule"...By the time Jennings got his left foot down he was no longer in complete control of the ball, there were 2 other hands on it so from the ref's point of view it was a simultaneous catch. So he called it as close as he could. And even after the review it couldn't be over turned.
So Green Bay..suck it up..it's early in the season...next time score more points.

Amazes me that people complain about the final call of the game as if it was the only mistake of that game. There were so many calls missed or incorrectly called prior that the entire game was a toss up. The refs made large mistakes on the final two touchdown drives that had significant impacts to the outcome of the game.
Wash the last two mistake ridden (ref influenced) touchdown scoring drives off the board and the Seahawks win 7-6

I love how Rog referenced the Tuck Rule when talking about historically bad calls, comparing it to the MNF debacle.

The Tuck Rule is the worst call in the history of the NFL. Brady knew it was a fumble. But, in reality, there was no way the "RAIDERS" were going to travel to and defeat the "PATRIOTS" in the wake of 9/11.

That call squashed the RAIDERS for more than a decade and launched a false dynasty. The MNF call pales in comparison.

Week 3 regular season does not compare to the playoffs... not even close.

An apology is hollow and meaningless without justifying the wrong. I'm not a GB fan but to make this right the NFL needs to take away the win from Seattle and give it to Green Bay. The Seattle coaching staff and owners should also be fined for not doing the right thing after reviewing the game tape and telling the NFL it wasn't their win. But silly me, thinking anyone does what is right voluntarily.

Roger, your the definition of fake. You twist and turn things so that they suit you and the league. You say you care about the fans, but your actions speak far louder than words. You say you care about player safety, but your actions speak far louder than words. You, the league and the owners care ONLY CARE ABOUT MONEY. Sure sometimes a victim of cancer gets free sideline passes or an opportunity to meet an NFL idol, but you know what, you only do that for the public relations, you only care about the money fans have, not the actual fans. The NFL is only out to maximize profit no matter what the cost, just as most big businesses are. Too bad you all sold your souls for the almightly dollar. I hope when your on your deathbed you look bad on your life and have no regrets, but I'm sure you will.

How about apologizing for Super Bowl XL while you are at it? I do not think the replacement refs made any more bad calls than to "real" refs do.; just fans looking for excuses why their team is not winning. The replacement refs are probably not as prejudiced the regular refs.
