I hope that once the scapegoat is chosen and he/she/it leaves “for personal reasons”, “to pursue other professional opportunities”, etc., etc., etc., blah blah blah, yadda yadda yadda, PFT will look closely at what that person is alleged to have done.

Any bets on which team whose owner is one of Goodell’s pals will find a position for the scapegoat?

The owners need to change the CBA ruling go back to real NFL football. Because right now you owners trying to stop something that is unstoppable like hard hitting pay-for-performance this always been in the NFL. Bounty always been in the NFL this what owners looks for in a player how hard they can hit, this how a defensive players get a roster spot. The owners and the commissioner need to be honest with themselves that they pays players to injury, and stop pushing the blame on the coaches and players for what all you owners pays these players to do.

Packers fans can and do handle defeat. What happened on Monday Night Football was a debacle! Ask a NASCAR fan how they would feel if their favorite driver was in the Lead ( and on the Lead Lap ) only to see the guy behind him get the Checkered Flag and be declared the winner. What Packers fans ( and I would hope ALL NFL fans ) can’t handle is losing a game because the NFL decided to employ the Three Blind Mice – rather than pay for Professional Football Referees!!

I’m interested in them revisiting the salary cap penalty that was put upon the redskins, and discussing removing it immediately. I think this year’s $18mil penalty was enough, and do not need to pile on another $18mil next year, but I’m sure Mara will stand up and continue to cry unfair competitive balance. Hmmm…… let’s see, we are 1-2 with one of the worst defenses in the NFL. How is that unfair competitive balance. Get real!!

Firing one “yes man”, and hiring another to implement your poor policies, collective bargaining strategies, etc. will lead right back to the same person hired to cover for you.

I think it’s great that instead of just footing the bill for highly tuned superstar players we now get to foot the bill for highly tuned superstar referees as well. Maybe the cheerleaders should form a union, too. Let’s see if we can get the average ticket price above $150!
