The is the CRAPPIEST excuse ever. And just FYI , the Saints D has always been crappy. The Bounty gate went on for three seasons and the only hot year the Saints had on D was in 2009, the Following Two Seasons, they went back to being crap even with the bounty gate still in. S=

So the bounty gate has nothing to do with the Saints playing like crap, they’re just not getting stops, not converting third downs, or to put it simple as Sean Payton would say “Not Doing Their Job”

the team you follow also missed the playoffs for te past five-six seasons until recently. Meanwhile , the Saints have made playoff appearances 4 times in the past five seasons. And Two: Didn’t the team you follow lose to the sorry vi queens last week? I think you missed those few deets .

Significantly different crime, so, significantly different punishment.

One might think the Saints defense doesn’t know how to play without the bounty program, after 3 years of doing it.

Ugly place for the Saints to be. Their offense is still great (though not as good as last year) but their defense is historically horrible. You can already see how Brees and the offense are suffering from having to press harder to try and keep them in games. And at the end of the year, everybody will blame it on Payton being gone, when it will have been the defense’s fault entirely.

The loss on Sunday was in large part the fault of the offense. The Chiefs ran 92 plays and the Saints’ D only gave up one touchdown, while forcing two turnovers (which led to 14 points on very short fields). Without Payton, the offense is not clicking and looks nothing like they did last year. The O-line is awful, something Kromer could focus on as their coach if he wasn’t busy being the 3rd-string head coach.

If the offense had just slightly resembled their old selves, the Saints could be 2-1 right now. It’s just not happening without Payton. Can’t blame the losses all on the defense. Our defense is always bad, every year. It didn’t really matter much in the past. But the offense does not look “great” right now, not in the least.

This comparison would make a lot of sense if Belichick and his coaching staff was suspended for the entire season.

The fact that the Saints lost their head coach for the entire season and the Patriots didn’t even lose their coach for one game doesn’t strike you as as major differnece in these “punishments”? The Patriots got a slap on the hand in comparison.

And? They’ve played nobody.
KC not in KC? Never very good. Even in KC, they aren’t exactly a juggernaut this year.
Carolina? Didn’t they lose to a terrible TB team the weak before, and get DESTROYED by the Giants last week?
The Redskins? RG3 has had one good game….against the Saints, in NO, on opening night when they had EVERY reason to be up for the game. They’ve lost to both Cincy and St Louis since

Besides, final scores rarely tell the stories of games, they may of made the final look prettier, but they weren’t in any of those games. But even if they were, you act like they had a tough road to go through the first 3 weeks. They weren’t playing the NFL elite here. If 1 of those 3 teams makes the playoffs, i’d be shocked, and they are 0-3 while being totally outplayed.

It’s not over yet, but it’s pretty close. Their margain of error is gone, and they haven’t even gotten to the tough part of their schedule yet (as much as you can in that division), where they see Philly, NYG, 2 Atl, SF, and have to fly out to Oakland in between

Packers are the same thing though, a generally bad d with some big playmakers (althought not as bad as the Saints D), this game should be like 49-35

It’s not just these guys, look at the Pats, they are the same thing. They can put up a ton of points, but can’t stop anybody. You can’t blame them, they NFL keeps changing rules to make it an offense dominated game, they are just keeping up with the times. It’s not longer mandatory for a great D to win a title. It helps, but the titles come from the offensive side now
