No One loves the Pats more than Bruschi or me for that matter. But he is being very honest. I thought the first game we looked horrible. The second and third game we had glimmers of improving but still bad. (bad for how we look mid season)
I think McDaniels thought he could just mail in the wins) I believe the problem is our new OC. Not that he is bad he just hasn't figured out the dynamics of his talent yet and the best way to call a game using ALL the available talent. I actually think with a reduced amount of talent this week that TB and company will have a great game called for them by McDaniels. It remains to be seen if he can accommodate all the talent he isn't used to having in an efficient way

I hope you're right b/c I hate the pats, but I'm pretty sure you're wrong. The pats were expected to cruise over Ariz, but no one thought the Ravens game would be anything but a coin flip. Bills got crushed by a terrilbe offense and beat two below avg teams.
I'll be rooting for the bills, but literally betting on the pats to cruise.

bruschi is also the only one in all of espn picking the bills to win. Hey lets not mention the fact that ALL 12 espn analysts and the rest of the espnboston crew are picking the pats. Lets focus on the one guy (out of 20) who has picked the Bills to win in a shootout by 3 points!

Bills will never go anywhere with Fitzpatrick. Way too erratic. Keep dreaming Bills fans, but hey you can take 2nd place if you want.

Yea, the Bills lost to the Jets, but the teams have gone in opposite directions since then, despite identical records. The Jets were the home team, not the Bills. Also, kind of the opposite of how the Pats season has played out as well. Pats blow out the Titans, and respond by losing 2 games that, after week 1, everybody was picking them to cruise through. The Bills, blown out by the Jets, respond by beating 2 teams that, after week one, everybody thought they would lose to. I'm not crowning anybody here, but it could be said that the Pats are in "Woe is me" mode after losing the 2 games the way they did, and Buffalo is extremely focused on coming out and ready to play NE, not thinking they can, or should beat them, but that they will play with them, and put themselves in position to win the game. I'll be there, and I'm sure it will be fun to watch.

Keep thinking positive, Pats fans. The Reality is, Bruschi is right. Yea, they are a missed fieldgoal and blah, blah, blah away form 3-0. NE teams in the past didn't put themselves in those positions, this season is much diffrent. They blew out a Tenessee team that couldn't run the ball, and was starting a QB with limited experience, that doesn't impress me much. They lost at HOME to the Cardinals, and then lost a track meet to the Ravens. The Pats never lose at home, and they usually have the stanima to finish track meets. No, the sky isn't falling, but the NE cake-walk to the AFCE crown doesn't exist anymore. Buffalo can, and will, beat NE in OP Sunday, it will be close, but it will happen. No lead is safe anymore, and the book is wide open on controlling Brady. I am, however, realistic. If the Pats beat the Bills Sunday, they still will have a hard time getting 10 wins, so I guess this divison will go to the only 10 win team. Houston, San Fran and Seattle should take it to the Pats, a split with both the Jets and Bills are likely scenarios, that's 9-7 at best. This isn't the end of an Era, simply just the NFL, and time, catching up with the Pats. Maybe this will finally be an exciting division for once.

Based on What...I can answer that..

The regular refs are back! When have the Vegas Darlings ever had the Patriots lose a close game in the last 10 years? The regular refs win games for the Patriots...Why do you think the Patriots lost the last two games with the Replacement Refs? Do you think that is a coincidence? Did you think it was odd that we see the real Bill Bellicheck when he loses a close game to the Refs? I expect now that the replacement refs are gone, the Patriots will be back to winning with the help of the Regular Refs and Vegas.

Belichik subscribes to the theory that it’s ok to cheat as long as you don’t get caught. And if you do get caught, deny, deny, deny and claim it was just a rules misinterpretation

It's odd that people still do this so long after the fact. Her post is not even relevant to the story or even the previous comments.

How many times has she typed out a message like this over the past 5 years?

As Ace Ventura would say..."obsessed much?"

Thats Right Tedy, You got this one right Buddy. The Bills are taking over the division. This is the “table turning game”. When it happens don’t say you are shocked. Its the end of the AFC East dynasty for the Pats. All hail the new King of the AFC EAST—–BUFFALO

--------------------------
Like last year when the Bills won that first game against the Pats and started 5 - 0?

Remind me again how that worked out for you?

Also...didn't the Bills get an open palm spanking from the Jets in week 1? At home? Might be a little early to declare them "King" of anything.

The sky is falling! The sky is falling!

Typical knee-jerk reaction by media and fans. They win one game and they are the best team in the NFL.

They lose 2 that they could've won and now all hope is lost?

Had Gostkowski made the FG, we wouldn't even be having this discussion.

Who even knows who would've won the Baltimore game had the officials not screwed up so badly.

This is the first time I've ever said "I hope Tedy Bruschi is right".

I think the Bills will ultimately decide to bench spiller, hold freddy jackson out most downs and allow the patriots to spread out their defense to better protect against the pass.

I also think that Welker will have a big day with the Bills secondary.

That being said, Tashard Choice has shown that he can benefit from the Bills offensive line just as Spiller and Jackson have.....I also think Fitz has made some adjustments after the Jets game. This will not be a blow out. Could go either way.

The Ravens game was marked as a possible loss once everyone even saw the schedule. The Cardinals have shown that they have a top tier defense.

Its not like the Patriots have been getting blown out, two plays go differently and they’re 3-0. But the Bills beat the Chiefs and the Browns and suddenly they’re too much for the Pats…..Okay teddy, keep spewing nonsense for those page views.
**************************************************
Here's your difference.

In past years, the Pats would have been hands down favorites to not only beat the Ravens, but win the whole thing.

This year, that's not the case. They SHOULD make the playoffs, but even that's not a given anymore.

The times, they are a changing.
