Broncos staff’s heart is displaced, if I remember correctly Peyton did that when his neck was healthy, and he was at 100 percent. You can look at Peyton and see that he is not. Broncos should have just gone with Osweiler and spent the rest of the ridiculous salary that they gave Peyton on good free agents, and upgraded the team.

Only one team has gone undefeated in the regular season in the past 40 years, and that team didn’t get a ring…
Remember the 1972 Dolphins?
– 14-0 in the regular season.
– 3-0 in the postseason.
– Super Bowl 7 winners.
– 17-0 overall.
I’m assuming the Dolphins qualify as a team within the past 40 years…

There’s a good chance you are the least knowledgable person on the planet. Lets look at what Elway has done in his 2 years. He drafted the def. ROY and the team won their first playoff game in a long time, with Tebow at QB. Then he managed to get rid of Tebow without the many Tebow lovers rioting in the streets. To top it off he got one of the best QBs of all time to sign with the team. We have a new offensive system a new defensive system and the 2nd toughest schedule in the league. But ok if we don’t win 11 games they should fire Elway. Do you ever wonder why you don’t run an NFL team? We don’t.

Another thing that people overlook is that Tamme was a back up in Indianapolis, Eric Decker would be a 3rd string receiver on GreenBay and Damarius Thomas just learned how to run routes this year. Add the fact too that Brandon Stokely is supposed to be retired and you got an offense that is what it’s supposed to be.

Look Jackwagons,

It is a long season. When the schedule came out several months ago, we knew the first 6 weeks were going to be tough.

Only 1 team has gone undefeated in regular season in the past 40 years, and that team didn’t get a ring.

Being undefeated right now must then mean those teams don’t have a chance.

Sitting on a couple of losses right now makes our chances much more prone to be playing on Feb 3rd.

@jasoncnz, you make a valuable point but let’s remember, that o line went up against top tier defense three straight games and 7 sacks is not bad considering it can be a lot worse. They threw the broncos under the bus early, theres not a team this season who had a tougher start than denver. As for the WRs, no excuses! They better start catching more passes or the broncos may look else where next season. The two loses could have been game changers had decker and Thomas caught what they’ve dropped. Manning still doesn’t have a go to guy when the pocket breaks down and that’s where the struggling area is, we can easily argue that manning should have completed around 60% of his passes for 400 or so yards against houston had not been for the many dropped passes.

Peyton will be fine as long as that so called (and self named) salt & pepper due can catch the damn ball!

Two years ago, they made the excuse that they were just rookies. Last year, the excuse was Tebow and his inaccurate throws. Now the excuse is “they are learning a new system”. None of these are reason to continually drop passes that hit you square in the hands.

Peyton is also getting knocked around WAY to much. In Peyton’s last 5 yrs, he got sacked an average of 16 sacks a year. Right now, he is on pace to be sacked MORE THAN 40 TIMES!

If people want to see Peyton play at an MVP level again, the first thing that needs to happen is for the Broncos to get him some freaking reliable receivers and an O-Line that doesnt give up 3+ sacks a game!!!

So have a lot of other coaches.
Peyton Manning is considered to be this generation’s best QB. Yet he has one Super Bowl ring. Brett Favre has one Super Bowl ring. Dan Marino has zero rings…
This obsession with quarterbacks is so freakin’ annoying.
The three best teams in the NFL are Houston, Baltimore and San Francisco. But none of those three teams have a “superstar” quarterback.
Even this season’s biggest surprise team, Arizona, is quarterbacked by Kolb/Skelton… or is it Skelton/Kolb?
If having the world’s greatest quarterback was so damn important, the Philadelphia Eagles wouldn’t be 2-1, right?

So you’re saying they expected to be 3-0 with Peyton adjusting to.a new system after a year long hiatus? Not to mention playing games against Pittsburgh, Atlanta, & Houston? He didn’t commit a turnover in 2 out of 3 games…And its only THREE games…I have a hard time thinking they had those unrealistic expectations….I believe the media is the one disappointed with the start.
