Losing to Vince Young, Tavaris Jackson, and Rex Grossman at home in one season automatically nullifies a SuperBowl Championship.

A mind is a terrible thing to waste!

I love how you use an SAT word (nullifies) to convince yourself and try and do the same to other Eagle fans that winning regular season games is way, way, WAY more valuable, important and, what really matters, over winning the SuperBowl.

I still don't get the fascination with Vick. He is not a very good QB. He is an exciting player in the open field but not quite like he used to be. He can put some zip on his throws and it looks effortless but they often miss the mark badly and he has no clue what he wants to do at the line. He plays backyard ball like nobody else but the structure of the NFL offense seems too much for him.

Giants fans either run to the "were super bowl champs" or "your fan base sucks and your trophy case is empty". Okay... I read the posts and ONE guy said he wished an injury on JPP. That one guy does not represent the entire philly fan base. None of us want JPP hurt we want a good fair game. We hate each other but we know as football fans we bring the best out of each other because we are division rivals. Im sick of the bickering here just shut up and let the best team win on Sunday. It's too early in the season to say who is superior regardless of what we witnessed so far.

I wonder if Vick will cry to the media like he did last year after the beating he takes Sunday…punk
--------------------------------------------------------
WOW!!!! A Giants fan talking about crying to the media after a game?!?! This must be your first weekend watching the NFL, either that or you haven't been following your own team. Week 1 it was the refs, Week 2 it was Schiano, Week 3 its the cameramen. I had to explain to my mom this is why she couldn't find any Kleenex at the store, they're all in East Rutherford.

Giants fans have nothing to come up with? ok, so who are the super bowl champs? they are still the champs until someone bumps them off, thats plenty to come up with. Sorry to be so technical mr. awww, but, they won the SB in Feb 2012. i guess it's ok to talk about then.

awwww, cute little Giants fans have absolutely nothing else to come IP with besides throwing SB’s in everybody’s faces. last I checked it was a new season and the Giants have already lost one division game, and given their track record against the eagles, will probably be down 2 this Sunday night. it’s funny how many times people slap down Cowboy fans for boasting about 5 SB’s and “living in the past” when that’s exactly what these pathetic Giant fans are doing. Its 2012, quit talking about 2011.
---------------

Because that's what matters. Just shut up and watch the game Sunday. Eagles fans have nothing to brag about that anyone other than they themselves CARE ABOUT.

Eagles fans will constantly go back to the various miracle at the meadowlands as comebacks. I would gladly lose every game to the eagles for the next 10 years if it resulted in more superbowl wins. Philly fans are too shortsighted to win anything substantial.

The Eagles and their band of punk players will never win a Super Bowl. There are too many teams with more talent and class in their way.

You only need to go back to Deseans classless celebration and throwing g the ball at Perry F and that's why they will never win. Too caught up in their own glory to be a serious contender.

I love how every year the Eagles are a dream team or dynasty and they haven't won JACK!

Something that the Giants don't understand. You need to continue to be aggressive on defense and going after QB's. Stop relying on your down linemen and even those 3 man lines. It never did them well. Perry Fewell has to be aggressive with the calls.

For the record, Eagles did come back in 2010 and Vince Young did quarterback the Eagles in last years Eagle victory, but look at how the Giants defense played. Giants defense couldn't be stopped in 2010 getting to Vick. All of a sudden they played softer and softer (one great example is Brent Celek's 65 yard td, look who's covering him and look who else is 20 yards downfield). The answers to those are Tuck and then Osi.

Don't get me wrong Eagles deserve credit for not giving up and playing till the end, but many people never pay attention to how soft defenses play with a big lead, or hell even a lead or near the end of a half.

I find it rather amusing that the Giants claim that they developed the “blueprint” to beating Michael Vick. I mean they must be really bad at executing it seeing as they are 1-7 in their last eight games vs the Eagles.

Vince Young even managed to beat them last year and they still are yapping. It’s not like the Giants defense is even playing well right now either they made Josh Freeman look like a star quarterback.

We’ll see what happens tomorrow night JPP. For your sake I hope you’re not too overconfident.

Nobody on the Giants said ANYTHING about cheap shots or trying intentionally to hurt any player.

“We’re coming; we’re going to hit you regardless so whether you throw the ball or you run the ball, we’re going to hit you. If you throw the ball and release it, as long as we get there before he releases the ball, we can hit him.

What part of that quote says "We are going out of our way to cheap shot and injure Michael Vick."? None. I would assume that the Eagles plan to hit Eli Manning as many times as they can as long as it's by the rules.

I find it rather amusing that the Giants claim that they developed the "blueprint" to beating Michael Vick. I mean they must be really bad at executing it seeing as they are 1-7 in their last eight games vs the Eagles.

Vince Young even managed to beat them last year and they still are yapping. It's not like the Giants defense is even playing well right now either they made Josh Freeman look like a star quarterback.

We'll see what happens tomorrow night JPP. For your sake I hope you're not too overconfident.

I see your keyboard confidence is shining today, wishing someone who doesn't even know you exist - a career altering injury. It's women like you who would piss in their underwear if you had to fight JPP straight up. Smh at these clowns.

i understand that this sort of talk (and Rexy's talk) is a tad bit less offensive than bounties, but it's not much. sure seems excessive to suspend players for a year, etc. when statements like this can be made with no repercussions.

And 9 sacks to folks in Green Bay doesn't sound like much--8 in the first half last week against the Seahacks of all people.

Results count, nothing else. Eagles fail every time when it counts. Thank god the players aren't scum like the fans, advocating a chop block is retarded. Coaching your QB a career ending hit is even worse, which is clear what is happening. Win or lose, what happens down in the playoffs is what counts, simmer down on records, Giants have trophies that mute any noise the fans can mutter.

Can someone on the Eagles please chop block Pierre Paul? Nothing like a torn ACL to help him shut his mouth.
------------------

Classy. Like it's his fault that Vick holds the ball forever and that the offensive line is in shambles and Andy Reid's playcalling is hilariously misguided.

Either way, nobody on the Eagles can regular block, so asking them to do a specific type of block is probably asking too much.
