OK, so I “missed” on Gostkowski….but the running game and defense was right on.

Edleman and Hernandez are out. Gronk isn’t 100%. The Bills will blanket Welker. With the interior of the line in tough shape, they will push the middle of the pocket. There will be little time to throw and few people to throw it to. Unless the Patriots have a surprise up their sleeves, they are going to have to have their best day running the ball in years (but see o-line woes). I’ll count screens as running plays. It may have to be the defense and Gostkowski pulling this one out.

I said in the preseason the O-line was reason for concern, and to think otherwise was delusional. I recall the response wasn’t favorable. I guess we’ll see today if the ether is wearing off yet.

Is BB’s sense of his own genius the reason why glaring problems apparent to anyone are addressed two years too late? First the D-backfield, then the linebackers/DEs, now the OL. Do the Pats have to become 31st rank in terms of protecting the QB before things are done.. sometimes in 2014? Brady always follows the company line, but he must be livid.

No, this just in, in order to be considered a good team, you have to demonstrate the ability to beat a good team.

The only good/decent team the Bills played is the Jets, and they were annihilated.

Therefore, you’ll have to excuse the fanbases of the other 31 teams in the NFL if they’re not exactly impressed by the Bills looking good against two bottom-5 teams in the NFL.

But hey – if you guys lose to the Patriots tomorrow, you can always just blame injury like you did last year, as if the Bills are the only team to suffer injury each year.

For the mighty browns and chiefs comments I do recall that the browns were a dropped td away from beating the ravens. Close game with a good cincy team. The chiefs beat the saints the following week. Maybe they aren’t the same saints of old , but they still have a guy by the name of drew Brees.

Idk why the Patsie fans are poo poo-ing on beating the Chiefs…they have the same record as the Pats. And as bad as the Browns are, their D is alright, and they’re only a game different than the Pats.

The line has been poor at times (4th quarter against Ravens) and good at times (Titans game, 1st half against Ravens).

If they can’t hold up, it could be ‘duck and chuck’ followed by ‘dink and dunk’, followed by let’s force feed the running game.

This season more than any other in recent years, the Patriots will go as far as the defense takes them.

The o line of the Pats is becoming a big concern for them, the Bills front four has looked dominant the last two weeks and Bills have 9 sacks in their last two. Look for Kyle Williams to have another dominant game. It is not Mario Williams the Pats need to worry about, it the interior of the Bills D line. Missing Mankins will hurt Pats. Best way to beat Brady is to put pressure in his face, and that suddenly got easier to do.

@nyjets1017 Maybe Darrelle Revis will get another pick this season. Mario Williams has been a huge factor these last two weeks, in fact everyone on the line had a sack last week, he had 1.5 . Everybody has there attention focused on Williams and it gets others through the line.
