Asomugha on the bench, not missing much

Nnamdi Asomugha AP

Eagles cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha has been taken out of the game, and per multiple reports, Eagles trainers are checking his eyes. He just left the sidelines to go to the locker room.

Of course, the way the Giants and Eagles are playing offense, more people might consider a poke in the eye.

Neither team has scored, and there haven’t been many threats.

While no one has been sacked, and there have been no turnovers, there still hasn’t been much going on, unless you’re a punter.

Two of the best D-lines in the entire league on display tho.

I feel like every prime time game has a team from the NFC East in it.

Nfc east has a lot of prime time games because they are larger markets. Its all about tv ratings n money. For example KC vs TENN just wont draw the same interest and outside their respected cities. Same could be said for PHI n NY but they are two huge cities that are crazy about their football teams.

Apparently D battles aren’t interesting anymore? Or is that only when the Giants and Eagles are involved.

    Didn’t get that memo.

I like watching a good defensive slugfest. It’s not like they’re playing sloppy, the d-lines are just dominating their counterparts.

I’m not even a fan of either team and I can say this has been a great game to watch. Gotta appreciate the tough D with neither team willing to give up much
