Bengals build a 17-7 halftime lead on Jags

Chris Pressley AP

Don’t look now, but the Bengals might be pretty good.

Quarterback Andy Dalton’s run for a touchdown and thrown another to Chris Pressley (pictured, on his head), and the 2-1 Bengals have a 17-7 lead over the Jaguars.

The Bengals have been helped along with their ability to catch people off guard, with a 48-yard gain on a fake punt setting up their first score.

Other than that one, and a 42-yard pass from Dalton to A.J. Green, they’re chipping away at the Jaguars in this one, and it appears to be enough.
