I believe the issue was the alcohol made him dehydrated, and as the game went on he got cramps. Had he not drank, he would not have had the cramps and could have done more.

And for wtfchiefs – you are a complete tool. Taylor rushed for over 11,000 yards in his career, had SEVEN 1,000 yard seasons & is 15th ALL TIME in rushing. And you call him fragile? You don’t know jack. Fred Taylor was a stud.

Wow, the media still has it out for Fred Taylor. The guy was a phenomenal player and is going into the Jags HOF, hopefully on the way to the NFL HOF, and you have to take a shot at him being a boozer? Classy.

Actually urlifestillsucks, Florio is correct and you are wrong. Wayne and Delores Weaver are members 2 and 3 of the Pride.

Actually Florio is “correct.” Tony Boselli was the first…Wayne and Delores Weaver are 2 and 3 (unless you want to count them as one). Fred Taylor will be either the 3rd or 4th depending on the counting above. But second is wrong.

I read the linked story and I still can’t figure out just what he was trying to say about the single-game rushing record. Is he saying he should have had more yards that game? Is he trying to make some accusation against Coey Dillion and AP? He never explained what he meant by that and I’m surprised the reporter didn’t ask him either. You got any insight into this Florio? ’cause I can’t figure it out.
