Harvin takes opening kickoff to the house

Vikings receiver Percy Harvin told Pro Football Talk this week that, of all the ways he scores touchdowns, a kickoff return is the most exciting.

He’s very excited right now.

Harvin took the opening kickoff 105 yards for a touchdown against the Lions, which becomes the sixth 60-plus-yard touchdown surrendered by the Lions in the last one game and one play.

The untouched touchdown return underscores the problems with Detroit’s special teams, which suddenly has become as big of a liability as its secondary.

Vikings lead, 7-0.

Man is he explosive. Desean, Hester, Mike Wallace and (maybe) Chris Johnson are the only other players in his league.

The Vikings were just given a 15 yard penalty for unnecessary throw to the ground. That is apparently a thing.

U mean Calvin Johnson? Cj1k hasn’t exploded in quite a while. His longest run of the year is 13 yards
