APRedskins receiver Pierre Garcon may finally be ready to take the field today.
Garcon, who had a great start to the season in Week One but suffered a foot injury in that game and hasn’t played since, is listed as questionable for today’s game against the Buccaneers. But Rich Campbell of the Washington Times reports that Garcon will try to play, and Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that Garcon is more likely to play than not.
If Garcon does play, he likely wouldn’t be on the field for every offensive snap, as the Redskins want to take it easy on his injured foot. So Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III will be spreading the ball around to Garcon and receivers Leonard Hankerson, Josh Morgan, Aldrick Robinson and Santana Moss, and tight end Fred Davis.
The Redskins-Buccaneers game is a 4:25 p.m. Eastern kickoff today in Tampa Bay, so we’ll likely learn for sure whether Garcon is playing when the inactives for that game come out, at around 3 p.m. Eastern.

Not sure yet if this is a toughness issue or just cautious coaching
Lets go Bobby G!
Hail yeah!
If Kyle Shanahan has any concept of NFL football, he’ll have A Morris pounding the ball all day, no matter who plays at WR… They gotta keep that porous defense off the field by playing ball control..
Pounding the rock with Morris sounds good, until you realize that the Bucs run defense is unusually stout.
What a difference Pierre made today. He is everything the Shanny’s said he was. Makes me wonder what the result of the two previous games would have been had PG been out there?? HTTR!!!!
