Reggie Bush will play, Darnell Dockett won’t in Dolphins-Cardinals clash

Darnell Dockett doesn’t make a habit out of missing games.

Since the Cardinals made Dockett a third-round pick in 2004, the defensive end has played in 130 of a possible 131 games for Arizona. He’ll miss the second game of his career on Sunday against the Dolphins. Dockett is inactive thanks to a hamstring injury, leaving the Cardinals without one of their defensive stalwarts. Nick Eason will start in his place.

The news is better on the injury front for the Dolphins. Running back Reggie Bush is active after hurting his knee in the loss to the Jets last week. It’s unclear how much his playing time will be affected as a result of the injury, but we’ll likely see a bit more of Daniel Thomas and/or Lamar Miller.

Tight end Todd Heap, running back LaRod Stephens-Howling, tight end Jim Dray, quarterback John Skelton, wide receiver LaRon Byrd and guard Senio Kelemete are also inactive for the Cardinals. The Dolphins will do without quarterback Pat Devlin, wide receiver Marlon Moore, linebacker Austin Spitler, tackle Will Yeatman, defensive tackle Tony McDaniel, and wide receiver Rishard Matthews.
