I’m sorry to be the one to tell you this, but… you were off-key.

Who is at the top of the NFC North? The Vikings. The good news is that it looks like the entire division can count on 2 gimme games a year again from the Lions. That’s nice and feels right.

1. New kicker & special teams: new kicker has not only kicked game tying and winning field goals as a rookie in his first game,only missed 1 FG to date, he is also placing kickoffs in end zone with touchbacks @ 80% rate. opponents start @ 20 instead of 35 on average.

2. Defense: major credit here tocoordinator Alan & unknown linebackers & secondary that is definetely getting job done right now to give line a great chance for making qb uncomfortable.

3. QB Ponder is managing the game very well. Not necessarily making splash plays but not making turnovers & stupid mistakes. If the play aint there, let Kluwe punt to coffin corner & D do its job.

Wait….what? That made ZERO sense. Whether you like it or not. Special Teams is 1/3 of a football game. (Off & Def the other 2/3) Obviously you know this otherwise you wouldn’t be so upset at your diseased special teams.

Umm so if we were “lucky” to beat SF, which the Lions could not, so what would that make the Lions? Even more unlucky? I’m not sayin the Vikes are bringin home Lombardi, BUT I am saying we are better than what ALL the NATIONAL “Experts” say/think. Ponder, although had a quiet game today, is better than the “Experts” think.

Why is it the Lions come out of nowhere last year, they are considered a good team, but when the Vikes are in the process of coming out of nowhere this year, they are considered “lucky”? Face it, we WON the last 2 games and like it or not, they r in first place.
