Wow, really?? The issue is, it is not RG3 vs the Falcons, it is a team game and as much I love and want the Skins to win, they probably won’t win (although you never know). The Falcons I believe are going to the Super Bowl. That being said RG3 is very special is the short time he has been a Redskin and we have not had anyone this talented since IMHO Sonny Jurgenson.

Just sad our Defense is playing so badly. If they played a little better RG3 would not have to put himself into position to the beatings.

After we get our full cap back we will be able to build a Super Bowl team. Until then, RG3 needs to keep getting better and stay healthy.

There are quite a few things wrong with this post..

B.) If you’re going to put a period after the letter, you don’t also need a parenthesis.
C.) Robert Griffin has the 4th highest passer rating in the league, the third highest ypc average in the league, the second highest completion percent in the league, and is only the second quarterback in league history to only throw one pick in his first hundred passing attempts. Not saying he is “great” yet, just stating facts.
D.) The Bengals were a playoff team last year, Tampa had the highest rated rush defense and a top ten rushing attack heading into week 4, and the Rams… OK, I’ll give you the Rams (although they are looking like a much better team than they’ve been in years, and Bradford had the best Sunday of his career)

You’re absolutely right, that was no penalty, just a very good textbook tackle. It seems they want to put skirts on the QB’s, and you have to formally ask their coach’s permission to court them before you can gently prevent them from completing a pass. The Bucs were again the victims of game changing bad calls, it’s no longer a surprise.
Just like I tell my kids who play soccer: “You’re playing the other team AND the refs, you just have to score enough that they can’t take the game away from you.” Harsh but realistic.

You’re not allowed to actually pick up a player when you are tackling him, which is what happened. It was a good call, and I’m not just saying that because I’m a Redskins fan. If the Redskins did that, all you would be hearing is “Dirty play by a desperate Skins defense”, but somebody does it to RGIII and you get “He’s a wimp”. Give me a break.

I knew someone would bring this up so here we go, an explanation for you and other idiots like you, Baron was flagged for unsportmanlike conduct not unnecessary Roughness meaning he wasn’t flagged for the hit but for something he afterwards that’s why the ref threw the flag after both players had gotten up and walked

If you watched the game, Shanahan put him in far less positions to get waxed than the Bengals game. No triple option, less designed QB runs, etc.

RG3 knows far better, already, when to avoid contact and step out of bounds. Vick basically takes everything on the chin to gain an extra yard.

As for the headset “malfunction”…..come on guys. We all know why road team’s headsets so commonly have “technical difficulties” during the most important junctures of games. It is amazing that the NFL has not taken responsibility for controlling both team’s communication abilities after so many ridiculously obvious “malfunctions”.
