Mostly because the guy whose the reason for only 2 sacks against, Jake Locker, didn’t see the blitz and got injured. 3 more after that. The pass blocking was atrocious against San Diego and New England, but only 2 sacks were allowed because Locker would scramble out and even force bad passes. Hasselbeck doesn’t have the mobility to do that.

Actually, on that play, when Locker was clocked by another Texan, it WAS Watt who simultaneously lit Locker up. While one defender was knocking Jake one direction, Watt came in from the other side and nailed Jake’s elbow/arm which caused the actual shoulder to dislocate. … Thanks to how well Leroy Harris shut down Watt, Locker may miss the next game or two.

Ill say that 2 sacks in one game is considered not good. Ogden was known for only giving up 2 or 3 a season let alone a game. But i can understand “only” giving up 2 sacks and wanting to talk smack cause watts leading the league now in sacks. 1 minute of fame really makes you say silly stuff. Keep it up tennessee, your record speaks for your play

Oh before yesterdays game the Titans had only given up 2 sacks in 3 games. One game against Houston and they get sacked 4 times, lose the starting QB, and lose a fumble.

Actually, Harris is kinda right about what he is saying. Yes, I understand that 2 sacks a game is what analyst’s call Pro Bowl material, but if an Offensive Lineman keeps the Defensive Lineman from getting to the Quarterback 42/44 times. Wouldn’t you then say that the O-lineman dominated the D-lineman? 42 out of 44 times going against each other, the Offensive guy kept his QB safe. If a Wide Receiver catches 4 receptions on a CB when he was targeted 9 times, who won that battle? The CB right? I guess it depends on how you look at it.

Did you read what I wrote above? Harris didn’t even match up against him but a handful of times, yet he says HE handled him. – That’s the point.

Other than blowing several key penalties (against all teams), marking off penalties incorrect, marking off penalties on the wrong team, taking too long to make up their minds, not conferencing on important calls, getting the ball spotted wrong and making what some have said is the worst call at the end of a game costing a team a win, the replacement officials did just fine.

So, basically i thinking he wasnt really impressed by you.

jj watt leads the league in sacks with 7.5 as a 3-4 DE. he also leads linemen in pass deflections and has racked up a ton of tfl’s… other than that hes totally useless..

I remember back when Leroy Harris looked extremely promising after dominating Haloti Ngata the entirety of a playoff game he was asked to start due to injury. Since then, he’s replaced Kevin Mawae and ruined a line that blocked for a 2,000 yard rusher and consistently was bottom 5 in sacks allowed. The Titans OL has been the worst in the league at run blocking and mediocre at best when it comes to pass blocking since Leroy has been a starter. Quite frankly, the only reason he’s still in the NFL is because he was Mike Munchak’s 4th round project (he made all of the OL drafting decisions even when Fisher was coach) and Munchak is too stubborn to admit his mistake.
