Smarten up? Lol! He plays in the slot nobody was opposite him. You saw what happened when he played on the outside the first game of the season. That’s all I have to say. Then the next week he goes off on Eric wright who’s was ranked in the bottom ten out of EVERY single corner in the league on pro football focus. Get real.

@hardhead – If you think Cruz is covered by #3 CBs and LBs, you’re not staying up late enough to watch the prime time Giants. Roddy gets fat on those atrocious NFC South defenses. It’s why when he plays vs. any other team, he disappears. Plus, you’re 5 straight 1,000 yd argument is pretty lame since this is Cruz’ 1st full year as starter.

totally true. After all, Cruz had 100+ yds and a TD playing opposite our back up kick returner vs. a pretty good Philly defense on the road. Roddy had one more TD at home vs. the world beating Panthers secondary and had Jones opposite him to boot. Smarten up.

Can we call him injury prone now?? I hate Vick, but he played well last night. If he starts taking care of the ball, the Eagles will win a bunch more games. Of course, Reid will probably f#$% things up by forgetting he has one of the best runningbacks in the league and throw the ball 50 times a game.

Don’t be delirious. Where was Roddy White in that 24 to 2 smack down in the playoffs last year.

For an undrafted rookie Victor Cruz has held his own.

This season so far:
White 27 catches, 413 yards, 3 tds.
Cruz 32 catches, 388 yards, 2 tds.

Please stop hating. BTW, this was without Hakeem Nicks for 2 games so the defense would key on Cruz.

Did I mention Cruz is 5 years younger than White?

Nicks and Cruz all day. Oh! And a Superbowl Championship.

This is the season that everyone should hope Vick doesn’t get hurt. Just imagine if Nick Foles, a QB that knows how to do reasonably well with no talent around him is going to do with the RB and receiving corps the Eagles have?

It pains me to say this, but Vick played well against my Giants last night. He learned from his mistakes in the first couple weeks, and he adjusted.

Needless to say, the NFC East race is going to give all of us a heart attack, one way or the other – and will come down to the final weeks of the season.

Vick needs to heal for the Steelers. That will be a very hard hitting game. I hope Harrison will not be playing. If so lites out. That OL needs to really protect Vick throughout the whole game. He also needs to protect the ball like he did against the Giants. This will be an exciting game.
