Some of you exaggerating this supposed bounty and asking for outlandish punishments sound really butthurt. I can only imagine that the Saints have been abusing your teams on the field for years. Falcons fans??

I love how we still have those of you who comment on here with the intent to bash the Saints. Your accomplishments: nothing. No matter what could be said or what conclusions are came up with, the Who Dat Nation is still here. We support a team that supports us. It’s bigger then our record. It’s bigger then the season. We roll out in the thousands to see a glimpse of the black and gold run through the tunnel and take the field no matter how the season undergoes. We belive. Roger can legally take away alot of things, but that he can never touch. We are New Orleans. We are the Saints. And we, are not going anywhere. Who Dat.

I guess in New Orleans the coaches are the biggest factor in the Saints either winning or losing, apparently the players themselves have nothing to do with it.

If anybody should be strip the NFL they one pay these guys for the action they do, some of you is to young to remember football today is a piece of cake compared to back in the years. In the 1960′s if the players from back come forward and tell the story about if the NFL was caring about players safety the NFL will be lying. There was no talking about players safety back then and there was heavy bounty program back then players was being roll off, carry off, carted off straight to the nearest hospital. There were not a hold lot of rules in the NFL back then no suspension maybe fine players being kick off team for so many games no. NFL commissioner Roger Goodell talking about concussion what if the guys back then come with they football injuries what would the NFL do then. Now the NFL come with this mess like concussion just started now they have so many lawsuits they need teams to lay it on. You must play very aggressive to keep your job with the NFL why do you people’s see players get hurt in training trying to make the roster mainly if you playing defense if you not knocking out people’s you will be cut. Owners is not looking for powder puff players they looking for players who can run over you are put you out of the game.

Goodell single-handedly destroyed the Saint’s season, and along with that, 53+ players’ season. That’s one less year for them in their playing careers, while Goodell’s career can continue for another 25years (hopefully not).

Lest we all forget (again), Roger Goodell is merely the mouthpiece for the owners. You know ‘em. Turds pinching pennies like Jerry Richardson.

I can’t blame the players for getting all they can in the brief time they have to play the game.

Some players just look a bit silly, patronizing to fans and ignorant enough to think we believe them.

Fujita takes the cake but then he is in a compromising situation of trying to injure a player he purports to represent against such injuries. I have nothing but disgust and disdain for Scott Fujita, as should every NFL player that once looked to him as a leader.

saints are part of loserania the players will end up in jail for liying to a fed judge and if they dont go to jail then it should be ok for everyone to lie to a fed court
the saints were cheating and they were told to stop they dident they tryed to cover it up but couldent they are the worst nfl team in history they are the lowest pos in the history they need to be disolved at very least they should not be allowed a first round pick for 10 years same punishment given to other people who lie on fed documents needless to say loserania karma eat it

Roger Goodell suspended Sean Payton because he is a mastermind of leadership and play calling they were talking about another head coach better than Sean Payton there is no other head coach in the NFL better than Payton but one man and that’s Bill P.

When will you wake up and accept the fact that Payton and Loomis have already admitted that it happened:

“We acknowledge that the violations disclosed by the NFL during their investigation of our club happened under our watch. We take full responsibility.”

What were the violations disclosed by the league?

It was the bounty program.

They clearly state that the violations happened, they happened under their watch, and they take full responsibility.

Time for all the Saints fans to accept the fact that their team – management, coaching staff and players are the one’s that injured the Saints season.

If anyone should be going to jail it would be someone from the Saints organization – not the league office.

BTW – remind me of how Will Smith was going to fire up the defense for the Saints when his suspension was temporarily blocked.

Hey, it’s all defined by the CBA, by which both the owners and the players agreed to be bound. If there’s a complaint, it should be with the alleged attorney Maurice Smith. He sold out the players by forfeiting too much to gain some short-end chump change in an effort to get himself re-appointed as the executive director of the NFLPA.

Players, you got snookered by the very guy who should have been looking out for your best interests. And what’s puzzling, you still allow him to remain. Must be the hats.

Goodell is waiting for the Monday following the Saints first win, to maximize the moral damage of the suspensions. It’s not about due process, but rather about Goodell trying to drag out the announcements and delay as much as possible to extend the negative press. That is why Goodell was slow in announcing both the original penalties and the original appeal decisions, he wanted to keep the media talking and speculating for as long as possible to emphasize his alibi narrative on player safety.

Since Goodell has overstepped his evidence, and has already succeeded in torching the Saints season, I think he wants to make this go away. There is also always a chance he could lose in court, or at least have to go through “discovery,” which would be almost as onerous.

For all these reasons, and to avoid having to bring his own food tester for this year’s Super Bowl, my prediction is that Goodell will reduce the penalties on everyone, including Sean Payton.

Oh I see, Goodell is going to wait and see if the Saints can go 0-6 or so first and then have Vilma agree to a suspension this year so it doesn’t hurt the team and he can save face while posturing like he won.
