With the subject of Peyton Manning’s arm strength all the rage, Patriots defensive coordinator Matt Patricia chimed in Tuesday, saying he couldn’t see anything wrong with it.

Granted, it’s not as if he’d watch film with his boss Bill Belichick and come out saying “This guy’s got an arm like Ramen,” but the point stands.

I haven’t seen any issues with that whatsoever,” Patricia said, via Mary Paoletti of CSNNE.com. “He looks like he’s throwing the ball extremely well, extremely confident and getting it into some really tight locations and I just think it’s building every week. I think he’s just doing a tremendous job out there.”

Patricia said the film he sees of the Broncos quarterback does look similar to old Colts film, with the use of multiple tight ends and three-receiver sets.

“Peyton is doing a good job of running things that they’re asking him to run and some of it happens to be real familiar with the stuff that he did previously,” Patricia said. “I think there’s a good mix of the Denver offense and a lot of that has to do with Peyton Manning and the quarterback, but also like I said, the skill players really fit into a good role for him in what they’re trying to do both in the run game and throwing the ball too. But there are definitely some things there that look just like Peyton Manning.”

Tom Brady has an 8-4 edge in the battle of quarterbacks you may hear a thhing or two about this week, but Manning has won four of the last six.
